I grin, "Well, come on. I want to reach the city before dark... The woods get scary once the sun sets.." I say in a spooky voice the I crack up. "Just kidding, kind of..." I mutter the last part under my breath, moving quickly. The night time was when all the rogue vampires and werewolves and shapeshifters met up. If you ran into them... Let's just say that there won't be enough of you to identify.

We come into the city and I nod to a girl standing on a stage. "Hey, Clare! Where's my Bobby-Joe?" I ask her, grinning."You need MORE food?" She asks, laughing. Several heads turn towards me. I just grin and wave. I was known in this town as a gambler, a theif, and a guardian."Yeah, and some new lightbulbs." I say, looking up at Clare."He's in his shop... Be careful though, he's in a bad mood.""Isn't he always?" I laugh and walk back to the two girls, "Thanks Clare!" "No prob., Aphrodite!"

Pixle blinked 'I have a massive blank on mind right now' she thought, looking around the town, easily picking the spots she could watch, hide, or just roof jump from, she wondered how many people she could pick-pocket in a short ammount of time

"No pocket picking here, Pixle." I say, glancing at her. "I'm known as a Guardian of this city. And if you do that... Well, I'm known to kill pick-pockets that do that here." I murmer, nodding to several people as we walk on.

I stop infront of a building and knock 6 times, pause, knock 6 more times, then wait. Soon, the door is slightly opened, a small girl about the age of 5 peering out. She smile, "Aphrodite! You're here!" She turns back inside, "Bobby! Aphrodite is here!"

"Let her in," says a gruff voice from behind the door.I enter and nod in thanks at the little girl. "Bobby!" I say, holding out my arms, "Long time no see!""Aphrodite..." A very tall pale buff guy says, glancing behind me at Pixle. "Who's your friend?""Oh, that's Pixle. Keep your eyes off. She's my little cousin." I say, trailing a finger down his arm. "Now, Bobby-Joe. Do you have any light bulbs? I'm running low."Bobby-Joe grunts, turning around, "I think I do. Do you have the sparkles?" He asks me and I nod, following him.

Pixle followed close to Aphrodite, the new being shocking her slightly, 'hmn, wonder what ever happend to Exxire.....' she thought, trying to find something to think of as she tosed the ball from hand to hand, keeping her powers cored 'right, left, right, left..' she thought as she played with the ball

He brings down a box of food and several light bulbs. "There, that should last you a while. Now, hand over your trade."I take out a red velvet bag and pick out 3 beautiful diamonds. I slide them over to Bobby and he shakes his head, "Double the price this time, girlie.""You're killing me here!" I exclaim, taking out 3 more diamonds.

Pixle watched closely, not noticing the black squares seemingly floating off her skin and floating around her before vanishing, the ball's glow began to pulsate as she tossed it back and forth 'what in the...' she thought to herself as she watched. the last she had ever seen that kind of rock was the day she was capturd and inprisoned

Bobby grins, snatching up the diamonds. I quickly slip the bag back into my pocket and pick up the boxes.

Reyna followed them silently, making sure to keep her distance and keep herself obscured in the shadows. As she watched Aprhodite go into a room, she placed her hand out to the other girl and gave her a questioning look with her eyes, asking "is it safe?" but without words.@inkstep @aphrodite sorry about that guys for my non-posting!

@hayz apparently, I think we're right now in a shop where Aphrodite is talking to a man that knows her, and she's the Guardian of the town 😉

hmn...' Pixle's eye began to glow for a split second as she awtched the boy, something about him bothered her, no something, everything. she lowered her head but still watched, after backing up a bit into the shadows, she continued to mess with the ball, the translucent, liquid gold swirling with the black squares

"Everything okay?" I ask Pixle, glancing at her. Bobby watches Pixle, frowning. I turn to Bobby, "Well, thanks!" I say, noticing that he wasn't paying attention.

Pixle nodded slightly, a worried and confused look on her face as she watched Bobby, she slowed the pace with the ball, only throwing it every 5 seconds or so

@inkstepwalking towards both the girls and into the shop, she was met by strange looks by everyone situated in the general location, "Aphrodite..." Reyna started, but then trailed off.

I frown and tug Pixle and Reyna out the door, "Well, that was weird," I mutter, looking at the ground. I glance up at the sky and sigh when I realize that we had 30 minutes until it was sundown. "We better go now..." I say, determined to keep these two safe from the night.

Reyna allowed herself to be tugged out by Aphrodite and didn't complain when she felt a sharp sensation on her back, she stifled her groan, but still tensed up before she could control her instincts.

Pixle nodded, watching the shop vanish as they walked away, she shook her head slightly, looking back at the ground 'something about him, just the way he looks and everything.....' she shuddered 'why was he looking at me like that.....' she looked down at the ball and kept tossing it 'maybe the world still has spies and corrupt minds? guess 2,000 years doesnt breed it out?' she shook her head as her mind continued to race

I growl and stand up straight, "Hi." I say to the person behind @reyna . "Step away from my friend, NOW." I order, slipping a dagger out of my boot. A crowd slowly starts to gather around us and I hear whispers all around us."Is that the Shadow?""I heard he once ripped a person in half...""Aphrodite doesn't stand a chance against the likes of him..."

Reyna wondered what had just happened but silently felt Aphrodite's prescense in her own mind. Suddenly, memories came rushing back towards her, the fear had replaced everything and now, she shielded her mind from browsers of minds, only people who tried to attack her mind could find her barriers infallible.
