I quickly make Pixel the sandwich and hand it to her on a fancy plate. "There you go! I'm going to go run outside real quickly..." I say, darting out the door. I quickly climb up into a tree and look around hearing something.

Pixle watched Aphrodite's every move, her knees pulled up to her chest, her arms wrapped around them tightly, and the ball rested next to her. she took the plate and nodded as the girl left. Slowly pulling it apart and eating it in pieces, the electricity around her surged

Dark sensed her, and looked directly at her. "She heard me. I must leave now, before a conflict starts." Dark said, standing up.

I feel the heat of someone looking at me and turn around quickly. Too quickly. I fall out of the tree but shift into a barn owl at the last second. My wings catch the air and I soar upwards, my heart thudding with adrenaline.

I land on my porch and shift back into my human form. I slip inside and notice Pixle and the energy filled air.

Pixle had already finished, and was making the ball float around in the light, bouncing it around with the magnetic field, she smiled calmly, seeming much more mature, not noticing Aphrodite, the girl stepped around the ball, not making any noise, her scarf was undone and the brand from her prison was red with irritation

Pixle turned sharply, the lights surging so hard that some of the bulbs popped, she dropped into a crouch, covering her ears as the ball dropped and rolled away, and small shards of glass rained down. Looking up at her, she got to her feet and held out her arm, lifting her sleeve, her name branded into the under side of her forearm

I quickly clean up the glass and find new light bulbs. I screw them in then read her name. "Pixle. That's a nice name. My name's Aphrodite."

Pixle smiled and nodded, she looked over to where the ball rolled and went to get it, pulling it out and brishing some of the dust off, she tossed it from hand to hand and nodded with a slight grin

Pixle smiled and giggled slightly, playing with the ball again, she leaned against the wall and started forming random words and shapes in the gold liquid with the small black squares

I wandered in the woods, being bored. I bumped into Dark. "Sorry" I muttered, realizing that it was the same girl from earlier. She was cold.

Pixle followed closely, the ball clenched in her arms and her eyes searching everything, she was begining to trust her training as a smuggler and assassin again, something she loved but had been scared out of doing, the same fate of her speach
