Drake stared at the key in Brack's hand. He looked like he was still wondering what Brack was going to do. "Look, you can trust me. I know that... That I'm not the same Brack as you knew before. The Brack you knew failed his mission, and in his place, I was created. And I know that I will have no reason to live if I don't continue his work... Gah, it's so hard to explain all this crap." Brack said, scratching his head.

"Soo, since you're a clone... You're not the same person, but you remember everything that the person you where cloned off of remembered?" Kris asked.

"Yeah, I guess so." Brack answered. "So, you gonna go kick the father's butt or will I be standing here all day?"

I walked over and looked at the key. "Where did you get that?" I said my eyes looking at that key. I was focused.

"Is she with you?" Brack asked Drake. "I guess so, sort of." He answered. "Kay. Well anyway, only the best of the overseers get a key that accesses every part of the building, I happen to be one of the most reliable, it took a while to gain the trust of the father." Brack said.

Drake stopped. "Where do you think?" He said, looking back at her. His dark blue eyes where filled with determination.

"You can't go alone!" Kris yelled. "Me and Jo are coming with you."

"I can't go alone? Then tell me, what the heck where you two doing running in here by yourselves?!?! Go back with everybody else, this is my fight, I'm doing this myself, theres no reason for you to get killed." Drake said.

Jasper appeared behind Drake. He shadow-traveled, taking in alot of his effort.

"I'll come" he said quietly.

Drake didn't say anything, he kept walking.

"I'll take that as a yeah, he won't stop us." Kris said, helping Jo to her feet. They followed Drake to another empty room, this one had a ceiling, and it had a table with all kinds of different and creepy tools on it.

Back where they had just come from, Brack walked over to Cynthia, who was lying on the ground. Brack began to help her up. "What... What are you doing?" She asked, weakly. "Helping you." Brack stated. "Why? I just tried to kill you..." She said. "Because, I value every life." Brack answered. "There's no point in trying to save me, my time is coming to an end. They took away my emotions in order to give me this new power, and they also took memories. But they went farther than that, they limited my life-span, I'm of no use to anyone now." Cynthia explained.

Jo followed Kris and Drake into the room. She picked up a "tool" that looked like a giant pair of scissors, but the blades had little spikes all over them. "I don't even want to know what these were for." She said and tossed them into a trash can; she didn't want anyone to use them on anything.

Kris's eyes widened when she saw Jo throw away a mean looking pair of scissor things. "Let's continue." She said. "I don't like tis room."

"What do you mean?" Brack asked.
"I was not trusted by the EPC, and they where right not to trust me. I tried to kill the father... He... Was not what he had seemed. They decided if they limited my life, they could get one more use out of me." She said, tears welling up in her eyes. "It... Looks like my emotions are coming back, I will die shortly." She grabbed Brack's arm and squeezed it tightly.

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

"The pulse of pain, it means, any moment now..."

"Wait, is there no way to save you?" Brack asked.
"It feels... Nice to finally sleep... After so many years..." She said, and before closing her eyes, she smiled at Brack, her hand slipped away from his arm.

Brack set Cynthia back down in disbelief, he said nothing.

Claria was beaten and bruised. The EPC had captured her, and she hadn't seen her friends in a while. She limped sluggishly along the road. A familiar voice caught her ear though..
Kris! she thought.
She ran even though her twisted ankle hurt. She saw Kris and them talking.

"Hey!!! Guys I'm here!" she shouted in glee. "I'm free!"

"Claria? Wait, what happened to you? How did you manage to get in here like that? Anyway, it doesn't matter, welcome back to the team!" She said, hugging Claria.

"We don't have much time guys, the EPC knows we're here, and we want to make it to the father before the reinforcements do." Drake pointed out.

"Oh, right, let's go." Kris agreed.

The group kept moving through quickly, they helped Claria along, it was hard to move fast with an injured group member, but they managed. Soon they reached the VIP garden area. "According to Brack, the father should be here." Drake said, taking a deep breath. Even Drake couldn't hide that he was kind of nervous.


"Welcome." A voice said.

A man stood before them in a white suit, he was old, he had a trim white beard and hair. The exact way Drake remembered his father.

Claria felt a sigh of relief. But because of her, the EPC was on their trail. She stared at Drakes father.

"Who are you? And who created you to look like my father?" Drake asked breaking the silence.

The man chuckled. "I am your father, Henry. Who else would I be, son?"

"You think I didn't see my dad dead because of a heart attack? You aren't my father, so who are you and why are you here?" Drake said, angrily.

"I am none other than the creator of the Elementals, I am... The Father." He answered, with a smile.
