"It less welcoming then I thought it would be" Gabby said looking at the old, ugly, spooky, house. Gabby plopped onto the torn couch to rest and letting her side heal.

Sarah walked in. "HELLO?!?! IS ANYONE THERE?!?" ahe hollered with her hands cupping her mouth. Nobody answered. Sarah floped on the couch. "Im tired..." She complained and got up to find a bedroom.

Sarah fell backwards onto the ground. "nnggg.." she moaned, rubbing her head and realizing that Winston had ditched her and Gabby while they were climbing and took a shortcut. Sarah got up and igmored Winston's question. "Where are your parents?" she asked

"I don't have any." Winston replied, looking at the floor. "Stay as long as you want, I never get company." Right then he perked his head up and ran into the kitchen. After a while Winston brought back a small loaf of bread. "You must be hungry." He said as he broke the bread into 2 pieces and handed one to Sarah and the other to Gabby. Winston sat down on a tall, dusty, chair and told them he knew they would see his house and come to it.

Sarah slowly munched on the bread. She pulled out her notebook and opened it to a page with a black and white picture of a young woman on the back of a horse taped to the 2nd page of the black velvet notebook. "Thats my mom." Sarah said, rubbing the picture gently. "She died before i was born. I was adopted." She paused and started again after 3 repeated sneezes. "She died in a fire when her house burned into flames by 2 men." She closed the book and placed it back into her backpack. Then, she motioned for gabby to tell her and winston her story.

gabby pulled out her notebook and opened to the page of a man and a women. " This is my dad and this is my mom." Gabby said pointing to the drawing she drew of them when they where still alive. " They died two years ago in a car accident. This is the only thing I have left of them."

Gabby looked around the house but scince it was small that didn't take awhile. She looked in the kitchen, then into a small bedroom, ect.

Gabby was climbing from what felt like hours. Said that she never took a break until she found that boy. So she searched and searched and searched.

Sarah looked at her with a confused expression plastered on her face. "Get revenge? Why? He was just trying to protect himself!" Sarah said, still climbing. All of a sudden, the cute little squirrel from the cave came back and squeaked, rubbing up against Sarah's arm.

"He came up and stabbed me on the side while rock climbing! Why wouldn't I get revenge?!" Gabby said savagly looking at the cute squirrel as it came to her and licked her arm. Gabby let it climb onto her back and as she started climbing again.

The sun began to set. It looked as if the colors and intensity of the light slowly got dimmer by the minute. The sun looked like like a great big inspirational fire in the sky. Like a powerful symphony was quieting down, becoming more emotional and beautiful as it dies down. Its rays seemed friendly. They remind sarah of an old friend, waving good bye to her, she knew that her friend had left but she was filled with the confidence that she would see her again. Sarah stared blankly at the sunset for around 5 minutes untill. She realized that it was gone. "We should find somewere to stay the night." Sarah said. The squirrel climbed onto Sarah's shouoder and ticked her with it's bushy tail. Sarah pet it's small head ahd fed it a chestnut. Then, sarah began to look for somewere to sleep. "Over there!" She said, pointing to an old fox den in a forest.

"K" Gabby said taking the squirrel out of the rain that had begun and bringing it into the den. Gabby kept the squirrel as her pet, fed it, and gave it freedom. She decided to head to bed after awhile of staring out of the den but found some wood and lit a fire then layed down to sleep, the squirrel curled up next to gabby and fell asleep with her.

Gabby suddenly awoke of the sound of a eagle. It had her squirrle! Gabby ran at the eagle and threw her dagger at it- that killed it and she got her squirrle back! Gabby then fought the squirrle and slowly drempt back to sleep. Gabby odly still woundred where Winston was,she even drempt she was looking for him.

Sarah woke up and took her notebook and a kunai. "I'll be right back. Im going hunting." she said, and walked untill she saw a big deer standing in the middle of the forest. Sarah crouched down and flung her kunai at the buck. It landed right in the back of his head, killing him. Sarah was about to drag him back to the cave when she saw two squrrels playing. She opened her notebook and wrote a poem.

Whisky, frisky,
Hippity hop;
Up he goes
To the tree top!

Whirly, twirly,
Round and round,
Down he scampers
To the ground.

Where's his supper?
In the shell,
Snappity, crackity,
Out it fell.

@sarahsaurus oops not fought the squirrle caught the squirrle!

Gabby woke at dawn and went into the Forrest with her dagger. There she saw Sarah writing a poem- Gabby hated poems but that didn't matter. Gabby went hunting for a larger buck then Sarah's. There it was 3 deer in the forest a fawn, a doe, and a buck. Gabby aimed for the buck, then shot. Hit! Right in the stomach, the other deer scattered and gabby dragged the buck back to the den. Gabby then dropped the buck next to the dead fire pulled out her notebook and drew the squirrle. Then when she was done she restarted the fire and cooked the buck. She gave a few peices to her squirrle.

Sarah cooked her buck and cut off the antlers. "I can use theese as a weapon." she said, showing gabby the antlers. She realized how lucky she was to get a perfect shot in the head and kill the buck. Otherwise, she would have to share with gabby.

Gabby took off her buck's antlers and said " look I have a weapon too!" Gabby smirked at Sarah. Once she finished eating she took her antlers and climbing gear and headed ou the den.

Gabby was almost at the top of the mountain- about 20 feet away. She climbed because she needed to see what was at the top. Gabby didn't know if Sarah was climbing but if so she was below gabby. Gabby was now a very skilled climber from all of her practice. She slipped a rock and fell down but catching herself now about 40 feet to the top. "I wonder what happened to Winston." Gabby mumbled to herself. She didn't notice but the squirrel followed her and jumped onto her shoulder.

Sarah packed up all of her things and followed gabby. "Hey." she greeted and pet the little squirrel. Sarah soon noticed they were almost at the top. "Look! Almost there!!!" sarah said, so exited that she almost fell. "come on! Maybe we can get up there by the end of the day!" She said and climbed faster.
