Okay, right now, the economy is bad here at Egg Cave. That's all I have to say. Older members are breaking out of the group, newer members normally stay for a day or so, and then leave... Plus, the recent death of a very popular user caused a lot of clamor as well. Egg Cave is DYING, people... I will ask a lot of my friends to get an account and stay on, so they can have fun on Egg Cave. We need it, it seems, because the more senior members we lose, the worse things seem to get out of hand. Not meant to be offensive to the others, either. I'm not saying any names, but right now there's a lot of rude and unfriendly people, ASSAULTING a newbie... A 9-year-old newbie... Cussing her out... Is that what we call a fun, safe, Egg Cave, the one that we USED to know? I just don't understand... Why would people be doing this?

Today has be stressful on me... I saw it all unravel. I was on all day trying to sort things out...
Egg Cave is going through some bumps. But if it doesn't puzzle it self out, even I may quit...

People nowadays are incredibly selfish and narrow-minded. If EggCave is suffering, it is because of human beings who are not cooperative or kind to others. The site was not originally like this; I had an account long ago that I was on for a couple months, before I forgot its name and password...the site back in the day was filled with friendly users, who, mostly, have long since moved on. A new generation has begun to use the site, and that is why it has changed so much, and in many ways, not for the better.

It's a shame to see good, kind users go. They were what made EggCave such a warm and welcoming community.

I am going on Hiatus but there was a time when EggCave had its dark ages...I used to be here like what 2 years ago? I was one of the quitters during then....there was like 2-3 people quitting like everyday....weren't @chloekins and @whitefall new during that time?😋

Lol😋 It was a LONG time ago, when everyone was just trying to hold on until the Version 2 EggCave came out...and it got really boring because people just went on Hiatus until it came out

I agree with you. I've seen cuss words on statuses. Someone said that because of his age, it's not a cuss word. GROW UP. Okay, maybe I'm not acting the niced right now. Im in a mood because of my sisters. I'm not the most famous. I joined a while ago, and then I got rid of that account and got this one. I have fun here. With friends. Im kinda venting right now. Sorry. But this place isn't the jolly ol' village it used to be :/

I concur, though it's society as a whole that is a major factor in the interactions between others. We can't fix others, but we can improve our surroundings through our effect on the community. I'm not sure eggcave would profit from such a loss as your Hiatus considering you are among the benevolent and helpful citizens playing.

Thank you... Even though I agree with you, how should we stay when it appears as though we can't make a single dent in this? It might just be a bad time, but I've been considering Hiatus long before this. When I realized that the more eggs you got, the harder to raise them. This situation makes me want to go on Hiatus even more, but I'm not sure if it would be the right thing to do, though...

It's a little too late to say EggCave's in hard times. It's been like this for a while now, and as you know, it's only getting worse.

If it helps, I can try to get a few kids in my grade to join ec? I've already convinced the 5 people on my friend's list. However, more people coming on creates more quitting newbies...

That is true, but if you can get people to STAY on, then that would probably make a enormous difference... Only, how can you convince them to stay on?
