Shadowpaw set down the prey to speak. "Yeah," she mewed. "But yesterday, you were so into learning that I didn't want to disturb you." She said this in a way so it would be obvious that she was just teasing him and joking around.

Redpaw laughed. "Was that a joke?" he shook his head.
He pulled the thorn out of Shadowpaw's paw. "Just lick it, okay? If you think it's infected,let me or Gingerpaw know." he mewed.

"It was an attempt," Shadowpaw offered. She sighed in relief as the thorn was taken out. "Thank you," she said before nudging the prey to him. "Eat up, I expect you'll have a long day." She waved to Redpaw with her tail as she walked out.

Redpaw nodded. But he didn;t eat it; he left it for Gingerpaw. He storted out some of the herbs.

He padded out. He saw a cream-and-brown kittypet. "Hey! Kittypet! What something to eat?"

Shadowpaw was told to reinforce the dens. She received some sticks, grasses, leaves, and vines. She got to work on the elders' den first. Shadowpaw noticed Redpaw talking to the kittypet that was found earlier.

"Bet you look alot like your dad then" She said. "My father was a warrior, my mother a Kittypet. Then I rant away" Spot said stating it simply.

"I'm really not sure exactly. I've never met him, only heard stories about him. All I really have to picture him is his flamed pelt and dark brown eyes" Spot told him. "As you can see I got nothing from my father. Nor my mother. My father was the color of flames and my mother is the color of snow... Dont you find that odd?" She asked.

Shadowpaw wove more branches and leaves into the den before deciding that it was good enough. She moved over to the apprentices' den and began there. Her ear twitched as she listened to Redpaw and the kittypet, Spot.

Maybe they could have a kit? Just one, and Shadowpaw (A warrior by then) could pass away right after.

He padded towards Shadowpaw. "Hi. What's up?" he purred.

Shallowpaw had just comeback with her mentor on a hunting patrol. She had caught a rabbit. It was small, but it was perfect size for one of the elders.

Shadowpaw wove in the last of the materials. She felt her heart flutter as Redpaw talked to her. "I miss you, too," she sighed. "Hey, maybe you could go and 'gather' herbs in the forest and hunt at the same time." She hoped that Redpaw could do this.

"Don't add modest to your list of great qualities," Shadowpaw joked as she ran after him. She noticed a bird hopping around on a tree branch. Using her long claws, she pulled herself up the tree and onto the branch the bird was on.

FireClan cats can't climb trees...Redpaw tries, but fails.Dasiystar (comming soon) tries, but gets it. She is the only cat in FireClan who can do it...


Redpaw sniffed the air. Squrriel! It races up a tree. "Okay...How do I climb trees....? How...How...How?!"

Redpaw shugged,he jumped on the tree. He pushed himself up with his hind paws. He leaped on a branch.
Just as he was going to leap on the next one, he heard a snap.

SNAP!

The branch snaped under his paws. He fell down. Another branch fell down. It landed on his formerly broken paw. "GINGERPPAWWW!" he yowled,fainting.
