@plushie You're not allergic are you?

@plushie Pee on it. Seriously. The acid does something to the poison.

I'm as concerned as @takatheeducatedkid, if you are allergic don't you have medicines you can take.

Take Benedryl for swelling and a potential allergic reaction. Otherwise, put some ice on it and keep your foot elevated.

I've been stung six times by scorpions, which are about twice as painful as bee stings. I've learned that keeping ice on the sting and relaxing is the only way to deal with it, as it's poison and cannot be treated with medicine.

@plushie

Use a finger nail to scrape the stinger to get it out other wise you will squish the poison out.

Get some baking soda and mix it with a little water in a cup so its nice and soupy and put that where she stung you! It will draw out the poison and make it feel better.

I agree with @philomena as well ice slows the blood so the poison spreads slower.

If you don't know if you are allergic call your parents if there is a lot of swelling. If you have trouble breathing call 911 IMMEDIATELY!

@plushie Oh wow! You used my remedy, after the masters of stings gave such good advice? But I'm glad it worked. Maybe you could take the caps lock off your computer now, if you are no longer in pain.
(If you're still in pain, keep it one, might make you feel better, I have no medical proof for this though)

@bunnyshadow yes, I live in the heart of Arizona. We have scorpions constantly, but they haven't been infiltrating as much since we repainted our house and sealed the baseboards.

Scorpions usually fall from the ceiling or climb up the walls and sting unsuspecting people when they sleep. They also enjoy water and are seen around the bathroom more often than any other place in the house. When you're stung by one, you need to take benedryl, not to help with the pain but to keep the afflicted area from swelling. The poison is unavoidable with a scorpion sting, as there's no stinger to remove. The poison goes directly into the bloodstream. Ice will help with the pain, but otherwise there's nothing to be done except wait.

@nkiay That's what my mum always tells me to do. And my Grandad told her. Could just be a crazy family remedy, that is entirely possible.

@plushie Is it better? You've gone all silent, I'm worried.... Unless you are washing your hands 'cos you've weed all over them....

@bunnyshadow Arizona has a variety of animals most states don't. We have mountain lions, javelinas (wild pigs), bobcats, scorpions, rattlesnakes, coyotes, and the Gila monster, a deady poisonous lizard with yellow-and-black scales. Scorpions are unavoidable here, but after you've been stung once or twice, you handle it much better.

This is normally what our scorpions look like:

@plushie, I suggest you use @nkiay's baking soda trick. Make sure to keep the area iced and elevated. Also make sure that the stinger is completely removed.

@philomena

Agreed. 😊 And scrape the stinger out instead of using tweezers or pinching it. It really make a difference. I have no experience with scorpions, but I had honey bees that lived in my house till me moved when I was 11.

I love you.
You get stung by a bee,
come straight to Egg Cave for help,
take the help and pee on your own foot.

You need a hug.

You peed on your foot?
Well, I guess if it helps... x)

Here we have...
Bugs and deer.
Deer are afraid of us,
And bugs are dead half of the year;
Our state was harsh winters xD

@plushie
When ever I get stung by a bee... I strongly recommend you put Mud on the area because the mud dries it out as well as something else that I forgot.....XD
