Here, you can recommend your favorite books! Here are some of mine:

Gilda Joyce series:
This is a delightfuly fun mystery series about a "psychic investigator" girl named Gilda Joyce. It's mysterious at times, funny, and interesting.

Warriors series:
I'm sure a lot of you have heard of these books. They're about four Clans of cats who live in the forest, and they're a sad and happy books I'm sure you'll be hooked on.

Thunder by the Sea:
This book is about an orphan boy who takes on a family in Newfoundland, Canada. He finds a dog in the sea (lol) and they become the best of friends. He names the dog Thunder.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children:
This book is for those who enjoy creepy, chilling mysteries and scary endings. It includes a love story, monsters and some very.. peculiar children.

Hmmm... I don't have any specific favorite books, but I'm reading "Matched" by Ally Condie, I read 20 chapters so far for a project and it's a really good book. 😊

My fave books?
1. The Hunger Games Trilogy ~ Suzanne Collines
2. When you Reach Me ~ Rebecca Stead
3. Every Soul a Star ~ Wendy Mass
4. Walk Two Moons ~ ... (I forget)
5. Ginger Pye ~ ... (Again, I forgot)

I like the Warriors series. 😊 But in my opinion, the newer books are getting bad. The first series is good. After that, I think they're getting worse.

Here are a few of my favorite series.

The Elemental Masters series by Mercedes Lackey: Awesome retellings of common fairy tales set around the turn of the century (1900).

Anne McCaffery's Pern books. A must read if you love dragons.

Mercedes Thompson series by Patrica Briggs. Urban fantasy series. Contains mature themes.

A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. A truly epic fantasy series. Books are huge and full of mature content (really not for young readers), but are worth it.

Fallen series by Lauren Kate:

About a teenage girl named Lucinda Price who falls in love with a mysterious boy, Daniel Gregory. Though she takes risks on finding who he really is she finds herself seeing strange shadows. -- Really good series! Especially if you're into Fallen angels, and such.

Forest of Hands and Teeth series by Carrie Ryan:

These books are based off of different characters but they all know each other, just has different points of views, if you're into books involving inconcecrated, or in other words, zombies, this is a great book and it blends in with romance as well.

Maximum Ride series by James Patterson:

This series involves lots of adventure and action! Not to mention mysteries. It's about five young teenage kids who happen to be experments and can fly, though they are trying to escape from these bad guys they try to find their real family. -- I would describe more but, it's better than it really sounds.

Touch series by Laurie Faria Stolarz:

About a teenage girl named Camelia who discovers a boy named Ben, only to find that he attends at her school and is rumored that he has murdered someone, she tries finding out the truth behind him, especially since he had saved her life, but something is very strange about him, but she soon finds out that they both have a powerful bond.

@rosey77

I just randomly pick books off the shelf at the library, mostly because they have cool covers, and I read "Walk Two Moons" by Sharon Creech. God, the author was hard to find without wikipedia.

Here are some of my favorite YA books in no particular order:

1. Where the Red Fern Grows--Wilson Rawls
It IS sad, but it's an amazing book...definitely one of my favorites. I've read it more times than I can count, and it never gets old. 😊 Perfect for anyone who loves animals and a great story.

2. Ender's Game--Orson Scott Card
I read this book a reeeeally long time ago, so I don't remember that well. I really liked it though, so I might have to read it again. 😊 If you liked the Hunger Games, I would definitely recommend this to you.

3. Sabriel, Lirael, and The Abhorsen--Gath Nix
I loved all three books, but Sabriel was my favorite. 😊 These are great books if you love fantasy (it's somewhat dark at times, so when I say "fantasy" don't go in thinking unicorns and princesses...it's not that kind of fantasy novel).

I also enjoyed these:
1.) Origin
2.) A Dog's Purpose ( warning, its sad)
3.) Hatching Magic
4.) Sea Creature
