Origin, by J.A. Konrath? I just read it and I love it! It was like Jurrasic park. A little violent .. okay, really violent. But I like horror books and movies. I would recommend it, but, its...Extremely Violent. Everything is calm until chapter 23. Anyone else have any good books they recommend?!@hay7199@sakura2596@rawrcookies08

Looks like @boxofcrayons listed most of my favorites already. (omg, you've read clan of the cave bear, read it in high school and loved it)For recommendations that haven't been said already:-Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs *Urban fantasy and a pretty good one too*-Any thing by H. P. Lovecraft "At the Mountains of Madness" is a good start *Some of it is a bit dated since they were written in the 1920's but they are good*I might think of more later. π
