Do They Differ?

Do girls and boys show different signs of liking someone? Because I'm pretty sure my best friend likes me. I'm not completely sure. I know the signs of if a guy likes someone but not a girl. Which is weird cause I'm a girl, but oh well. It doesn't really matter if she does, it'd just be nice to know.

@dawnfur hmmmm, not sure o_o i'm like completely lost when it comes to like 'like' advice DX Well, how do you show you like someone?

Deleted • 21 January 2012 at 4:28 PM

@iridescent I try not to. I have like absolutely no clue. XD

@dawnfur
Idk😋 But when I like someone (I am a girl and someone I like is a guy😋) I flirt a lot...and find myself always smiling when I am around them...

Deleted • 21 January 2012 at 4:30 PM

@dawnfur idk, i think it's all the same.... Usually you can tell by the eyes...like when someone has that look in their eyes...i think it's the same look though...

@orange
@iridescent

Well we aren't in the same room, we are talking over MSN.
So I kinda can't base it off that...

Deleted • 21 January 2012 at 4:33 PM

@dawnfur well, what're you guys like chattin about? Or what's the mood?

Deleted • 21 January 2012 at 4:38 PM

@iridescent This... It starts with her talking.

"Hey, girl, whatchu doin'?"
"Absolutely nothing. I'm bored as heck. Kill me, please."
"Aww, but I don't wanna kill you."
"you wouldn't be saying that when the zombies attack"
"When the zombies attack you'll be with me"
"What if it's a school day?"
"Well then we will just have to find each other"

@dawnfur when I like somebody I act silly and try to make them laugh (I'm a girl who likes this boy)

Deleted • 21 January 2012 at 4:49 PM

@avelaingia I'm not homophobic in the slightest, I just don't want things to get awkward y'know? And I know she is, and she knows I'm not. I just want things to be like they used to.

Deleted • 21 January 2012 at 4:53 PM

@avelaingia Oh, well she moved. We're not as good friends as we were. But still pretty good friends.

If you really think she's . . . what's the phrase . . . coming on to you, it might be a good idea to just tell her you feel uncomfortable. It's not an accusatory statement, so it shouldn't make her mad, but it should also get your feelings across.

@dawnfur

//Raises hand//

Pansexual here, likes both feminine boys, and feminine girls, and anything in between.

To me, girls and boys both show the same basic things, if you break it down.

Both girls and guys smile a lot when they're with someone they like, though how big that smile is can very between who the person is.
Both boys and girls laugh a lot, because the person they like usually amuses them
When someone likes someone, I've noticed they've had a habit of..leaning in? I don't know the word, but they put their weight forward, closer to the person, than away.
They fidget a lot, and mess with different things. Girls sometimes play with hair, fingers, glasses mostly. While boys tend to play with objects.

That's all I can tell you without getting overly complicated xD

@Cafe Well I'm talking to her on Chat. So I kinda can't base it off of that.. Errghhh~

You should probably talk to her in person before you make any decisions . . .

Deleted • 21 January 2012 at 5:30 PM

@avelaingia Well today she called me 'hun'
And when we talking on MSN she was singing 'baby come back'

I Dunno I might be imagining it, but she acts differently around me.

Hmm, well my orientation has been in question for a while,[not that I mind in any way] but if I happen to like someone, I find myself constantly staring at them without realizing it at first. XD

So if you catch them staring at you for a while, that might be an indication.

Or it may just be me. 😋 I tend to be shy and more of an observer of people I don't know well. 😊

You two just might be very close friends, and that's just her personality towards you[like a playful kidding kind of thing] or at least, you might be one of /her/ closest friends.

@lavender

I feel so awkward when that happens. One time a girl I know caught me. XD

We were working in groups in Drama. She spun around, and smiled. She had a confused look on her face, and asked, "Why are you staring at me?..."

I was mortified. @_@

And my response: "Um, it was nothing..."

Lame. Lamey Mc Lame. It was so amusing.
