All you're really doing is rejecting it.

Egg Cave changed. Maybe not all the changes were likeable, but change is change.
Accept it.
You can't turn time backwards for a reason


Yeah, I miss it. But dwelling in the past dun help one bit.
Plus, Egg Cave is community. WE'RE the ones who changed it.
Face it.

@goku I agree with everything you listed. But, how will signing this help exactly? We can't bring back V1, we can't change people and what they give. This is how it is now, ever since people stopped gifting rares and stuff, many people have said that they miss the old ways (and don't get me wrong, I do too), so signing this won't make any difference.

It's true though. One change didn't all of a sudden happen and no one wants to gift anymore.

We've gotten just a tad greedy and it's our fault not eggcave.
There's no use.

@smilies I agree with @icymuffin @balletninja as well, that this was pretty much a change brought by us...

But with wistful thinking, wouldn't it be nice if we could pop in and out of the old and new eggcaves like we used to be?

That was super fun, when I was a tester and I could choose either new or old eggcave 😋

I would love to be able to pop in and out, it was super easy to feed on that one 😉

@fluffy I don't really think the versions make much difference? 😋

I think it's because the most of the old users who gifted have settled down or gift newbies, and the people in the middle are the people complaining, because they aren't being gifted anymore, which is stupid because they have nice coves and it's their turn to do the gifting! 😋
They aren't newbies anymore, so why should people give them gifts, unless they are good friends? 😋

I also LOVE the new forums, but i think because of them, I'm too addicted to eggcave still.

If you want gifts, give others gifts. You will get the gift of thanks😊

I have gifted TON of people. What do they ask me? Can I adopt anyone on this account too?
Gosh...I made the an account for my christmas givaway. I GAVE away like 170 creatures to most users. What do they do? Half of them don't even say thanks...
OR they go like, no sorry. I don't like ___ creatures....no thx!
I mean, a gift is a GIFT. Seriously? Just take it😋

I should clear up some things, if people think I'm supporting this for selfish reasons - I only support this because I think people should be more 'together', and not just confined to friendship groups. I used to find making friends on EggCave very easy, and a lot of people were my friend. Nowadays, I find that making friends is incredibly difficult, and about 90% of people don't respond to friendly comments, etc. I suppose this really hurts, since I'm used to having a lot of people being my friend, and now having people treat me as nothing more than a petty stranger. Especially newbies - it seriously irks me.

I do miss Egg Cave's old days. For older users, feeling so is inevitable.
But what do I miss? Most of all, the simplicity. There weren't many users nor many creatures so people cared more about other people and liked best their few pets. No, people here haven't changed (there are still lots in the trade center with gifts and contests), the only thing that's changed is that egg cave used to be a "village" and it's now becoming a "city". Also it's likely that with so many released and to be released creatures, people have become a bit "greedy" because there are more pets to be interested in, which isn't necessarily bad.

Anyway, I guess this is the price of a growing website😱
And making petitions won't work because we won't go back and Egg Cave will always keep growing😊
