Me lloma VictoriaYo soy de North CarolinaYo soy 16I'm learning Spanish ATM XDThat was my horrible attempt at an introduction [I'm still learning the subjects, and stuff like that]I have to learn Spanish and sign language, because I'm going to be a vet and need to know so I'm not screwed if someone comes in asking for help - and I don't know what they're sayingNow, I need to know if someone is fluent in Spanish, so that I can just talk to them casually so I can practice.

taffy789 • 25 January 2012 at 11:08 PM

cafe • 25 January 2012 at 11:11 PM
@Taffy789I say "I am chicken" so I thought "Oh Einstein, this is going to be harder than I thought" xD
Zac • 25 January 2012 at 11:14 PM
I'd love to speak in Spanish with you. 😊 I always enjoy practicing with other users.Me gustaria mucho hablar en espanol contigo. 😊 Siempre me encanta practicar con otras personas. (Me faltan los acentos, lo siento.)
taffy789 • 25 January 2012 at 11:16 PM
@cafe -It's actually real easy. XD Like my Spanish teacher says, "It's PAPITAS" (It's... Potatoes? XD IDK what that means still. XD) I think she's saying it's easy as potatoes... XDAnyway, I'm good at reading Spanish, (Speaking it? Not so much. T_T ) So I can help you out a bit with your conversations and stuff. Aye qui qui? 😉 (Something else my Spainish teacher says a lot XD)
Zac • 25 January 2012 at 11:21 PM
@taffy789 papitas are literally 'small potatoes' which is an English idiom but doesn't really translate to Spanish. 😋 http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/small+potatoesAs for 'Aye qui qui,' I'm not sure you're spelling that correctly, haha. 😋
taffy789 • 25 January 2012 at 11:27 PM
@Zac - XD Yeah, my Spainish teacher uses a lot of the "American Spainish" when talking to us. XD And I just don't know how to spell the second one. XD As for your sentences, I think you said that you can speak Spainish very fluently, and then said you liked to pratice with other people. Then something about an accent... XD //First year Spainish knowledge//
cafe • 25 January 2012 at 11:28 PM
I have a hard time pronouncing some words in english, like Adjective, and my dad's teasing me about speaking Spanish [Cause he knows it]xD@ZacGracias, pero es posible que me llevara algun tiempo
Zac • 25 January 2012 at 11:29 PM
I just translated what I wrote in English, haha. "Me faltan los acentos, lo siento" translates to "I am missing accents, sorry"
balletninja • 25 January 2012 at 11:30 PM
I am on possesive forms right now.Gustaria? There are even more forms of gustar I have to learn? *sobs*
Zac • 25 January 2012 at 11:33 PM
@cafe Desafortunadamente, no te comprendi. El sujunctivo en espanol es muy complicado. 😋 @balletninjaIt is the conditional form. It means "I would like" or "it would be pleasing to me."
taffy789 • 25 January 2012 at 11:37 PM
@Zac - Oh darn. XD Don't I feel sheepish right now? XP *akwardly moves into a corner*
Zac • 25 January 2012 at 11:42 PM
@taffy789 Ahah, don't feel sheepish. You said you're in your first year of Spanish correct? You're still pretty good.
taffy789 • 26 January 2012 at 12:04 AM
@Zac - Thank you. X)
zafeyry • 26 January 2012 at 9:54 PM
@balletninjaI don't think gustaria is a word. The forms are gusto, gusta, gustas, gustan, gustamos, and in Spain they use gusta(accent i)s. I have a test on this tomorrow XD
Deleted • 27 January 2012 at 6:34 PM
