:D HELP NEEDED: How do I gain a Rare pet?! :D

Hi there,

As you can probably tell by this question I am quite new to Egg Cave. Although, I'm an experienced member on countless sites I can't work out how to gain a rare pet!

Please post below an answer to my question!

1. How to tell how much a rare pet is worth: Go to The Archives (http://eggcave.com/archives). It's arranged in alphabetical order. Click the creature you want to check, then see its Weighted Rarity. The higher the Weighted Rarity, the MORE common it is.
2. Wait, I don't understand you on this question...
3. If you want to trade for a rare, you'd better find someone that HAS that creature first. Ask them what they'd like for it (no begging, see http://eggcave.com/terms => Creature Begging). They'll usually check your cove and pick out stuff from it.

Ways to gain EC:

1. Get the correct Site Trivia (currently not active, but go check: http://eggcave.com/leila/trivia. Hover over Explore => Leila => hover over the building on the left)
2. Bid on the correct Alkub (http://eggcave.com/leila/alkubracing).
3. Put EC into your strongroom (http://eggcave.com/strongroom) then collect your interest.

@peachpassion If you go to www.eggcavern.net, there's a lot of helpful information out there!

The ways to get a rare pet would be to try once a day at the Mysterious Asteroid in hopes of getting an alien creature, and/or to try to find a Mo in the cave (check the Archives for what it looks like). Then your best bet would be to trade some of those for a CC creature that usually costs $$$. Those are the only eggs people will really trade for, which makes it annoyingly hard to get started >.<

EDIT: When an event (such as Holiday LE pets) comes out, you should hoard those and slowly trade up. As far as past limited edition pets, it's pretty much a rule of thumb that the older (in terms of release date) they are, the more they're worth.

The rarest creatures include the Tine, Macbot, Doovoo and Onny.

@peachpassion I notice your questions have pretty much been answered, but I feel like I should help in some way, so I'd like to help you get started! It's not much, but how would you like a Roasen? They're kind of rare, but I have an extra, and I know he'd be happy with an owner like yourself. 😃
