Skylar chuckled. "I'm a cross-mage, so is Sapphire. I'm fire and shadow, she's ice and water. You should come back to camp with us!" he said.

Skylar got back to camp with her. "You can find a place to sleep wherever you want." He smiled at her, and walked over to where Sapphire was. Skylar nodded at Jasper, dismissing the bump.

Sapphire stayed up to watch for the night.

Drew rubbed his eyes, yawned and stretched. He sat up, his leopard form long gone. Feeling energised, he noticrd the others sleeping and Sapphire, keeping watch. He felt butterflies in his stomach. Wait. Why was he nervous? He was never nervous.
"Hey there," he managed without stammering, and approached Sapphire.

Skylar was already asleep, but he woke in the middle of the night. He looked up at the night sky, wondering how all of this happened.
