UPDATE: @avelaingia helped me come up with a system that would be basically failsafe. Check Post 12 on this page for details! 😸

I understand this isn't the most popular idea...
but I have a problem and this would fix it.

I have two creatures left over from something I was doing in the Spammers Attack (xP) and I don't want their names to exist anymore. I kinda doubt anyone else would make the names, and if they did then that would be fine, but at least for now I'd like these names gone.

However, I don't want to waste two valuable name changes in changing their names. So, I'm trying to just let them die.

However, THEY ARE NOT DYING!!!!! They've been on 0 happiness (and I would like them to stay that way, thank you) for a few months now!

So...Some other adoptables sites (in particular, all of the MyAdopts sites) have an auto-kill feature. I think that would be useful in situations like these.

xP

@Cqpkytty
I love this.

Maybe pay 10k for it?

@cqpkytty I think it'd be useful, but as @chloekins said, putting a price to it.

Or, maybe instead of it being "KILL" it could be "Return to the Cave"? Same concept--less violent. xD

@cqpkytty I think it's a good idea. And as for the price, I don't know how hard it is to get EC. -is a bit of a noob-

@cqpkytty

They need to make sure an "Are you sure" notification comes up, though. XD It's like I'm scrolling through my pets and I accidentally click 'Kill Twickle.' ... O.O There goes my Squearth XD

@coryldork
I was really thinking free.

@pebblestar-nightclan
Agree.

@avelaingia
Good idea!
OK, here's a sample system:
1. Go to the Zombie Center (or some other name)
2. Click the check box under Bob to kill him
3. "Are you sure?" notification pops up
4. Click yes
5. Bob goes to your special "possible revivification" section of your cove (that nobody else can see!)
6. Decide that you actually do want Bob
7. Go to the Zombie Center
8. Click on "Revive"
9. Click the check box under Bob
10. Pay 250 CC (or some other amount)
11. Bob is alive again! Yay!

What do you think? 😸

@cpqkytty - What fi someone had already taken Bob's name while he was dead? What would happen then?

I think it needs a pin.
That way if someone hacks you,
they can't delete your rares.

@taffy789
Then you would have to rename Bob.

A little window would pop up saying, "Bob's name has been taken. Please rename it." And it would have a space to put Bob's new name. 😋

@balletninja
But...there would also be a reviving feature! 😸 See post 12

@cpqkytty No but.
Some people can't afford CC,
that wouldn't be fair.
What if you have 80 rares?
And they delete all of them?

Would you have a certain amount of time to kill it? I mean, what if you really do not want it? Will it stay in the "possible revive" section until it's revived?

@coryldork
The best way would have it to stay in there until (if) you revive it, yeah 😋

@balletninja
Then...um...
1) Maybe you could only kill one creature a day?
2) Maybe it could cost EC and not CC?

Good idea! But a LOT of things on EC need a pin. (You can choose to set them on)
-Trade accepting
-Travel Agency
-Tim's
-Strongroom
-AC
-This.😋
-Personel Settings
-Blocking/Unblocking users
-changing passwords
-changing emails
xD

@qwaszx - I ALWAYS forget my Pin #. XD Neopets is proof of that. XD

@qwaszx
Yah, PINs would be helpful 😋

@taffy789
Make it something simple. (but not TOO simple xP)
Or write it down in a place that ONLY YOU can access, but where you'll remember where it is.

I remember my PIN because it's the same as my actual one. Neo says not to do that, but I got my Neopets PIN before my actual one.
And it's a set of numbers I enjoy. I like certain numbers.

Make a new account, transfer as much as you can without using your PIN to that account, and make a PIN there that is something you can remember (or use my guidelines)

You can have Neo email the PIN to you.
Though, I know of a lot of people who no longer use the email account they made their Neo account with.
And I could just be the only one, but I keep up-to-date with everything across the Internet.

But a PIN on here would be really helpful, I think.

That's so sad! JUST because their common and you don't like their names you'll KILL them! That's terrible...
I like this idea, but there has to be a way besides killing them to do this. Or at least a way to revive them

I don't think you saw my update. Please check Post 12 on the first page - there IS a way to revive them now.
