Dating help? (Yeah yeah, pretty girly but.. help!)

I'm head over heels for a guy, a guy that has a girl friend. Who's my best friend. She doesn't really like him, but he begged her, and it's their third time. One more failure, and she'll never date him again. But when I asked why she liked him, I got this answer:
"She's just... perfect. Her personality, her looks... She's my dream girl." Today I told him I liked him, and now he's shunning me. I really love this guy, but he doesn't like me, I don't think. Now I don't know, I mean, if they broke up, he might date me, but I would never do that to my best friend!

IGNORE HIM. As much as you like him, he isn't worth it as qwaszx said.

She's not exactly the understanding type. I mean, she's a really great friend, but she might get upset and possibly overly possessive of him. Without meaning too, but if she thinks I like him, she'll get jealous.
If she dumps him, and I date him, then she'll get jealous and as she's "his dream girl" it will be really hard for him to resist if she asks him to date her.
I'm at such an annoying stalemate!
They would have to hate each other, but then my two BFF's hate each other!!!!
AHH! So annoying!

@luv Tell your friend. It could be bad, but it could also not be. If she doesn't even like him, why does she stay with him? And if she really is your best friend she would probably understand. And if they do break up and you two date, if she gets jealous, I wouldn't really consider her my friend. If she only wants a guy after they break up. I hope I could help you, but I only know based on what's happened to ME, so.. 😋

I don't try to get a boyfriend, but this guy is so sweet. I read him my speech, and he started to cry. He is so empathetic! It was a really sad experience of mine, and he came right up, gave me a hug, and said he'd always be there for me, so don't worry.

I don't know if she really is. I mean, we've been "Best friends" since Grade 1. When they describe us, they say HerAndHer.
(Ex. Say my name was Mallory, and hers was Marley, everyone thinks of us as MalloryAndMarley)

When he was a Grade 2, he went to choir to finish his homework. He saw me in the choir, and told me how cool it was that I was the youngest in the choir. He told me I had the voice of an angel, and I was cute.
I told him that I hadn't known the lyrics and I hadn't even been singing. 😋
He said I was still cute.
