Valentine's Day :(

Tomorrow is Valentines...another depressing day I suppose. I will have no boyfriend to spend it with, I won't receive any gifts (not that I care, but it's the thought that counts)...I might pretend to be sick tomorrow just to avoid being one of the few girls not to receive a rose or a gift or have a boyfriend to hold hands with.

Sigh...I hate Valentine's day.

@philomena You can still have fun! I considered sending msyelf a valentine from a "Secret Admirer", just for fun. Just try to enjoy yourself, or try to make it into a joke or something!

Aw, do what I do and hide XD I always make fun of the people in "love" but that's my opinion/life (I really don't believe in the word)
but don't feel bad! send yourself something, haha, or just spend it with friends, I know my friends and I are all in the same situation each year, so I cut somoe of my hybrid black roses and we each do our own little thing and then spend the day with eachother =3

Haha...single appreciation day. Only about 5% of my school is single...how pathetic. I'm almost 18 years old and I can't even find a boyfriend. Failure.

@silver_winged I won't even have friends to hang out with. They're homebodies and don't ever want to hang out. Plus everyone at school will be doting on their boyfriends and their gifts, so school is going to be miserable. Like I said before, I should just stay home...

@philomena If you really think it'll make you feel better to stay home, by all means go ahead. BUT: I can tell you from experience that dwelling on being single will only make you feel worse. (Also, I'm not hanging out with friends. I don't like people in the kitchen when I'm baking. X3)

@bunnyshadow no, I'm a senior in high school. So it's even worse. I'm an adult (almost) and I can't even find one boy in the entire school who gives a hoot about me. Pathetic.

@philomena You never know... Anyways, just try to enjoy your day as it is. It's okay to hate the day, but do your own little thing! I never hang out with any of my friends at school... Well, partially because I don't have many. I still write to my friends on Valentine's to tell them how much I appreciate them.

I have no family who cares. My parents don't give one hoot about me, and my friends...well, if they were real friends they would at least attempt to hang out with me, right? I have no one who "loves" me. But as I said above, I sincerely doubt love exists. It's only reserved for the select population of beautiful, perfect people with everything going for them. Why do I bother?
