Hi! This is just for fun!So, just randomly type part of a short story. Like this:Reno stood, silent, as the crowd faded away. He was left alone in the room. "Gone," he mumbled, reaching out into the air. "All gone." Reno looked down at his hand. The ground was visible through it. "Gone." he said quietly. "And I'm next."

Gunfire echoed all around as Keelin barrel-rolled, his plane's damaged left engine straining to keep him aloft. He grimaced as he heard the sound of a comrade's aircraft explode nearby. The adrenaline coursing through his body made him jittery, his finger trembling over the button to drop the missiles on the enemies below. Judging his distance, Keelin smashed the button, sending certain death towards those unfortunate souls who were fighting so hard for what they believed to be right. "One, two, three..." Keelin counted, and a small tear slid down his cheek. "BAM. BAM. BAM." The missiles had hit their mark, and all enemy fire from below ceased suddenly.Keelin guided his aircraft away from the scene and headed for home, his heart torn, knowing that his only brother was among those he had just erased from existence.~Fin~

Epic~~ 😃 I'm scribing. XD maybe. {Excerpt from book I'm attempting to write} "Damon!!!" I screamed, turning on my heels as fast as lightning, and rushing down the long corridor i'd just came through. "Nickky!" I heard a voice shout as a rhinoceros charged my pursers. The animal morphed, assuming the lean shape of my friend. "Get to the lab! Crystal's there!" I nodded, and, swallowing my fear, continued flying down the hallway and a speed so fast, coach Hidner would've been proud of me. I could hear deafening explosions to my right and left, and knew the sheer intensity of the battle raging around me. Part of me wanted to help. The non-crazy/not suicidal part of me knew that this was a battle being fought by people who have trained half of their lives for moment such as this. People who wouldn't hesitate to kill me. The same people who'd killed my Mom. I wouldn't last a second in combat with the intruders. For that reason, I believe a small part of me also felt like curling up to cry.

His sister was gone. Taken, by those soldiers. Those abominations. He cursed. As much as his mother would have disapproved, she would have been heartbroken to know that her daughter would suffer the same fate as her. He rose, out from behind a shredded car. One of the many left in the wake of barrage of tanks. Tanks, that carried soldiers, just like the one that took his sister. His blood boiled and he cursed again. He should have looked back to check if she was following. She was only a 7 year old, and in his panicked haste he'd neglected to remember that. "I will find you Nani" he uttered under his breath, surveying the wreckage around him."I will find you even if I have to kill the general himself." @taffy789 what kinda book are you writing about? Something to do with shapeshifters?
taffy789 • 15 February 2012 at 12:52 AM
@stellalunagirl - No, people with super powers in general. 😊 Damon's just a shapeshifter. "Nikky"(Nicole) can control fire. Crystal, who is mentioned, controls sound. |D And they all train at a special facility. ^^ ( X-Men much? XP)

@taffy789 Cool! i've always wanted to meet fellow aspiring writers...although I fail at novels xD Always give up at the 10k mark 😋
taffy789 • 15 February 2012 at 12:56 AM
@stellalunagirl -I'm only on the 3rd chapter of mine. ^^; But I have everything planned in my head that could fill at least 5 books. XD
stellalunagirl • 15 February 2012 at 12:58 AM
@taffy789 novels are technically at least 50k of words, which, is the bare minimum. My friend says ideally a fantasy novel should be around 70k of words. I've written heaps of short stories but for the novels i try do i always fail. So this time, I'm determined. ^^

Excript from the comic I'm writing >..<Mouse hissed lowly, she was half cat, and her instincts were kicking in, the three others closed in around her, Joel, Avaina, and Luke, all friends before, her bones rattled as Yag, the only one who had ever shown compassion for the mentally-handicapped Neko, despite him being an avian and her a meer low class Feline. "Mouse, It's your time, I'm sorry" he muttered, pulling off his glove and lifting the bat "You fooled us, your soul's one of the corrupted, you're not challenged, you're a beast" he muttered, holding back the choking tears that tore at his very being, Lifting the bat, Avain and Luke grabbed mouse by each arm and forced her to her knees, Joel sighed and looked away as the thick and muffled 'thud' sounded a lover ending the life of a loved one. Mous's body fell limp to the ground as her life slipped away like air through their fingers. A thick screech filled the air as the sky blackened, the air turned to ice and everyone froze up, a thick and bone chilling laughter filled the air. A demon killed, but the battle's tale had barely passed it's prologue.

Why are they all sad stories??? I'm going to write a happy story! From the top of his high perch, Reno looked out over the sea of wheat. A warm, gentle breeze tugged on his clothes. He spared a glance backwards. No one. One thought sprang to his mind. 'This is for you mom.' He closed his eyes and jumped. That was the saddest happy story ever.
