After seeing that the on Game forum, that posts don't count, why make the RP ones count?

It doesn't make sense. Why make posts that don't contribute to EC discussions count?

Its just my view on it and I'm pretty sure that all of you RP's are gonna flame me. x]

@hai I think roleplays contribute to EggCave plenty! They're a powerful base for the literary community here.

@Smilies

Because of the game forum. Some would also have massive post counts like you, but don't. Honestly the whole Social forum should be like this.

Mm... If you think about it, they don't really contribute. o3o Maybe it should be taken out.
I have nothing against RPing & it would lower my post count as well.

But I've noticed that in a couple other websites I've visited RPing posts do count while games don't, just like Egg Cave right now. So yeah.

@Hai But, most of the games posts are like, one words >< I write like, tons and tons and tons DX

@Icymuffin I would be fine if i got taken out of the main post count, really πŸ˜‹

BUT I WANT MY RPING POST COUNT VIEWABLE FROM SOMEWHERE. Seriously. I would be so mad if I lost all record of my greatness ><

@smilies
And I want a record for all my post counts in the game section πŸ˜‹ And I want Fifty-three to be revived with serious RPers.
But neither are probably gonna happen for me ^^

Ah well though.

@hai There are lots of topics other than roleplays that don't have anything to do with EggCave. Trending right this moment we have a Shoutbox (the current discussion is about a game) and a topic about talking in different languages. By your rules, those topics shouldn't contribute to the poster's post count, either.

I believe the reason games aren't counted in the post count is because they require little effort and you're able to post in very quick succession. For an example, the game with the most recent post as I'm typing this is Count to 1 million., where the replies are merely a single number. If two people were to "play" this at the same time, the two of them could rapidly post one number after the other and rack up a post count of several hundred within the hour.

Roleplays, on the other hand, take effort and thought to reply to, and they're not as easy to churn out as "8862".
