I get so tired of hearing people complain about Prom. If you have a date, then why complain? Shut up and be grateful you actually have someone who wants to go with you. I know for certain I'm not going to be asked, and if I asked someone I'd be ostracized from the ridiculous society my high school had spawned. I'd rather not.

I'm sorry if I annoy the users on here with my "depressing" threads. But to be honest, what other outlet do I have?

Dozens upon dozens of girls at school, acting as if their trivial problems are monumental. They all have dates; so I don't understand why they're complaining about it. They're all rich, too, and expensive dresses aren't out of the question either. I guess I'm just shocked at how someone who has everything they could ever want has anything to complain about.

I'm complaining about prom because I have no date, because I can't afford a prom dress, and because I've been alienated by my "peers" because of that. Not to mention I'm not exactly dating material. I feel just a tad bit justified in my complaints, as I have nothing that these girls have and yet they act as if their worlds are ending. To be honest, I have no idea what they're even trying to complain about. They already HAVE everything they need.

People in this society are just.... stuck up and selfish.

Keep your head up high and love who you are. To be honest, when it comes to high school, I will not go to even one dance. I would rather watch anime, sleep or eat like a pig while watching anime. x3 Do whatever you want, and live life the way you want to. 😊

I guess people elsewhere don't regard prom as "important". Here, it's almost more important than graduation.

I didn't go because I don't like parties. But, in my opinion, I wouldn't stress over it too much.

I'm in 7th grade, and I don't go to a single dance, beccause I don;t like them! And, I can tell you right now : I Will NEVER EVER go to a prom! Even if I ever want to (the chance is 1/999999999999...) my dad probably won't let me! I can's beleive somepeople think prom is more important than graduation(no offense)
