Sylvia dropped the cub from her mouth when the lion ran in front of her. She quickly caught the cub with a paw. "You could've made me hurt Kiara.", she said in a cold voice.

"When we were divided into different prides, male and female, I had to go with the males... And they're brutal. I hate very adult there, and the cubs are raised to hate lionesses," he spilled out all at once, and then shuffled his paws in the sand guiltily, feeling shameful.

Zaylia smiled as innocently as she could, hoping that Simba didnt know she issued the order to kill all male cubs the Lionesses find on sight, and that she killed one before. "It's only in self defense", she thought to herself, and her eyes traveled to the little male cub playing with Simba's tail.

Simba followed her gaze to the cub, and he stood protectively in front of him. "I don't care what's been going on, but no cub will be harmed if I can stop it, male or female," he said. Even though he'd killed some lions in his own time.
