Nightstar followed Redstar out of the territory, and when they crossed the border, Nightstar thought she heard another cat's cries. It reminded her of her Star life. The dream she had lived. Her father, dieing. Whitestar. How ironic that Spiritstar and Nightstar's father was a leader, just as the two siblings were now. Nightstar took a deep breath, and shouldered past Redstar. "We're nearly at ThunderClan." she sighed.

The wind blew Nightstar and Redstar's scents her way. She ran. She ended up a the thunderpath. She decided she would rest there for the night. She made a nest of pine "leaves". She was able to see anybody cross thunderpath.

"Alright." Redstar said. "Hey, when I was a kit, I heard stories on how ThunderClan got attacked by dogs and Brightheart lost her face. Swiftpaw died. Are these true? (yes,yes they are ^^)"

Nightstar nodded." My sister, Spiritstar, has seen that cat in battles. ThunderClan and ShadowClan are rightly rivals. The two Clans just don't rub each others' fur the right way." Nightstar mewed.

Nightstar nodded vaguely. "We had a cat like that, once. Coming to the forest, the dogs gave her such bad wounds -like Brightheart's- she died when we got here. Flashstripe, I think her name was. Or maybe it was Troutstripe." Nightstar flicked her tail, but her eyes shone with loss. "StarClan will welcome her, if they have not already." she meowed.

Shallowstream heard the whole conversation. Troutstripe?-Shallowstream thought- My friend, so thats how she died..
She stayed to listen for more.

Icestar padded away from the Training Area and jumped into the river, picking up scents of NightClan, FireClan, and WindClan. She swam upstream.

Shallowstream wanted to jump out, but they were too close, and would see her. She decied to go back to camp. At the stream, she took a drink of the water, went and grabbe moss, came back to find Icestar in the stream, "What are you doing in the stream Icestar?"

Shallowstream glared at the two cats in the stream, "Get out. You know I will report this at the gathering." Shallowstream troted away, leaving the two cats there.

''Icestar..im going to collect some cobwebs and marigold, ill see you back at camp.''
Silverpaw dipped her head as she bounded off into the river.

*as Silverpaw was collecting varieous herbs,a thought crossed her mind*

---why were there a large amount of dogs in the forest?----

-----it must deal with starclan,maybe they are trying to warn us! trouble was coming.----

*silverpaw leapt to her feet after digging up some chervil roots for infection and daisy leaves for mossclouds aching joints,silverpaw hurried back towards camp when she came across a rabbit, she caught it with ease and strolled onward.*

*Silverpaw placed the herbs in the empty medicine cat den and strolled over to Icestars den and dropped the rabbit at her feet*

'' I went hunting,while collecting herbs .'' said

*Silverpaw was shocked at the state of her leaders emotions,she too had lost her appetite,she took the rabbit to mosscloud*

*Silverpaw left camp and went over to riverclans border out in the plains, she layed down and admired the stars and the fresh scent of dew and marigold that filled silverpaws little pink nose*

*Suddenly she heard something approuching, a familiar scent silverpaw knew*

Shallowstar looked back and saw her, "Shouldnt you be at camp? If Icestar knows you were with me, you probaly don't know how mad she would be at you.. She hates me to StarClan now..most likely." Shallowstar was serious, but Silverpaw was her first friend as a leader. "But what have you come to say?"

"Look, we're tring to- AHH!" Redsatr begain then got attacked by Spiderleg. Redstar hissed. Then he pushed Spiderleg off. He pounce on him nd his claws came out and Redstar used Flame Claw.
Spiderleg yowled. His blood felt like it was on fire!

Shallowstar, counfused mumbled to herself, "What is she talking about? She isn't medicine cat, " she kept mumbling to herself as she walked to camp. Everyone was sleeping when she got home. She walked into her den an laid down in her moss.

She stood in the meadows of StarClan. "Whats going on?" She thought herself. She saw a pale blue she-cat. The cat's paws were white, and so was her legs and underbelly. "Welcome, Shallowstar. I must speak with you."
Shallowstar was confused, "Who are you?"
"I am your mother, I am Runningriver." The she-cat said. "I have come to warn you, the Fire will kill Night. River will kill Wind. Fire will kill River. Wind will kill Fire. That is all i am here to say.."
Runningriver slowly dissapeared. Shallowstar was rumbling in her sleep.
