Nightstar huddled in the shadow of the Great Rock, her eyes gleaming. She knew her warriors were training in the Dark Forest, but they would always fight for StarClan, however much StarClan portrayed themselves as weak fools. Nightstar curled her lip, revealing thorn sharp teeth. "They're not here yet." Blackflash told her. Nightstar nodded her head and told her deputy, "Thank you."

Redstar ran to the Gathering. He was limping.
Dasiyheart ran behind him. "Here, I'll help father."
Dasiyheart helped Redstar up the rock.
He sighed. "Thanks."

With a howl, Foxstar led his warriors into the hollow. He saw the other cats stiffen as if they though he would attack. 'Of course,' he thought with a sneer. 'They think StarClan will be angry.' "LightningClan are here." he announced to no one in particular. The shadow of his only daughter, Cloudpaw sitting in the front of the group of cats clouded his vision. "She should have been leader..." he growled, as he leaped onto the Great Rock.

Brighttail dissarrper and Redstar looked around. He saw Foxstar. He smiled. "Fellow Dark Forest warrior." he said to Foxstar.

Foxstar nodded a greeting, letting his claws slide out as he saw a tabby pelt gleaming in the darkness. 'Tigerstar.' he muttered to himself, but it was merely the son of Tigerstar, Brambleclaw (if he's alive in this story). The dark tabby leader had been training his warriors for as long as Foxstar could remember, but his cats saw it only as another training session. "StarClan fools." he growled.


@redstar-fireclan what do you mean? If Cloudpaw had lived, THEN she would've been leader. 😉

Finally waking up, Icestar started to her paws, seeing evidence of a battle. She shuddered at what Ebonyfur had shown her, and saw a pale full moon shining through the hole in the cave. -The Gathering,- she thought. -I need to lead my Clan.-

Turning away from the cold stone, she headed back, eyes dull and fur ragged.

Icestar appeared on one of the rocks surrounding the Gathering place, her eyes glowing like crystals and her fur silver in the harsh moonlight. "I'm here, Dark Forest fool," she said in a high-pitched yowl, jumping into the Gathering place with her Clanmates streaming after her.

"Very well," Icestar mewed, jumping up to the Great Rock. "My Clan's been doing w-well," she yowled, eyeing her warriors. She had been away a while- she had to make sure. Her deputy, Fireclaw, met her gaze and nodded encouragingly, reassuring the dark leader.

Icestar continued. "The river is full with fish as usual, and there have surprisingly not been any enemy Clan scents. I thank you all for this. At times like this Leaf-Fall, the Clans should stay at peace so everyone can survive happy and healthy during Leaf-Bare." She sat down after her speech, panting.
