Ripplekit settled down in a nest with a small mew. She was soon asleep, as she could hardly stay awake when Nightstar and Sunstar were speaking. Ripplekit suddenly decided to be like them. And if she couldn't be leader, then she would be the best warrior in the Clan. (Kit dreams... so thoughtless😊)

Nightstar padded back to camp mindlessly. Times like these were when she needed to look over her past. Being the only mother Shadepelt ever knew. Cloud. Nightstar's sister was dead. She would have been dead anyway if Nightstar had not learned to kill. She curled up under the Tangled Bush, and fell asleep with her tail over her nose.

Sunstar had looked at Ripplekit all through the Gathering. She looked so much like his niece, the one who had gone missing. Poor Creekkit. She had loved the water ever since she was born. 'Maybe it's better if Ripplekit is Creekkit. Creekkit would lead a much better life in RiverClan, that is, if she were still alive and well.

Ripplekit's eyes fluttered awake. "Wanna be leader..." she muttered as she stumbled out of the nursery. She crouched from behind a shrub with wide blue eyes. She shivered and padded over to Icestar once Silverpaw had gone back to her nest. "Who's Jayfur?" she asked, twining herself around Icestar's legs.

Shallowstar laid her kits is her den. Nobody knew she came in. She smelled worry starting to ease at camp. They knew she was home. She yawned and slept to sound of her kits mewling..
