Sunstar though no cat had noticed him enter. 'oh, well...' he thought. "Making your mate deputy isn't particularly common." he meowed. "Not saying that it's completely wrong, but I doubt most leaders would do that. But like Nightstar said, your Clan will respect your decisions.

Flameblight's bright personality ignored the black-she cat's snide comment. She stepped back as not to eavesdrop on the cats conversation. When it seemed that they were finished, Flameblight stepped forward.

"Are you all... leaders?"

Flameblight asked, timid. She didn't want to interrupt the cats meeting, but she knew that she had to join a clan. To avenge her mother's death.

Have fun leading your Clan." said Sunstar with a devious smile. He walked out, nearly running into Flameblight. He snarled, "Yes. Yes we are." Before stalking out, tail lashing.

"Well, don't you seem like quite the cheerful leader."

Flameblight said brightly, seemingly unfazed. She then spoke in a serious tone.

"I don't suppose that you welcome loners and rogues left and right, but I... I want to join a clan. I can prove my loyalty, I'll do whatever it takes to help Twi- to become a clan cat."

Flameblight said, looking at the leaders. She didn't expect acceptance at first, but if being hated by fellow clanmates was what it would take to help Twill...

Flameblight said, turning her head to the side, confused. The cat that had seemed confused and nervous had turned to a cold she-cat.

'Oh well, that's one leader. Perhaps one will accept me, and if they don't... I'll have to think up something else."

Flameblight thought to herself, flicking her tail side to side.

Scotty walks up closer, her ears are folded (Scottish Fold). Her dark gray tabby fur tuning silver in the light.
"Your owners called me Scotts-O. Rememeber?"

If no Clan agrees to have Flameblight, can LightningClan have her? Just wondering 😉

Sunstar concealed himself in the bracken. Flameblight seemed like a warrior enough, but he needed to assess her skills first. If no other Clan would take her, LightningClan would.

Flameblight thought for a moment. She studied Scotty for a moment, and then a lightbulb went off.

"Ah, yes! Hello Scotts- er, Scotty. I'm glad I'm not the only cat who wasn't born in a clan. They called me a kittypet. What is that? It is some kind of insult, I suppose."

Icestar stepped forward, her pelt silver from the moonlight. "You have my invitation to join my Clan, at least to see how it works," she growled, flicking her tail. Her RiverClan warriors knew how to make the Clan strong, even with a kittypet.

Oh, yeah. I forgot that detail... Scourge had better get ready for new warriors, except it's Snake and Ice now. Off you go, LightningClan! Once Sunstar dies...

Ripplekit poked her head out from behind Icestar's legs. Her eyes were starting to change from the cloudy blue they once were, to a brilliant dazzling color of blue. Her blue pelt was now starting to have a hint of gray, but her paws were still the perfect mix of blue-gray. "Who are you?" she happily asked Flameblight, refraining from trying some battle moves the apprentices taught her.

Flameblight bowed her head to the leader that had just offered her into the clan, but then realized she didn't know the leader's name. She saw a blue-grey she-kit ask Flameblight her own identity, and Flameblight smiled.

"I am Flameblight. What is your name, little one?"

Flameblight meowed, then turned to the leader.

"May I ask what your clan name is, and what your name is?"

Flameblight asked, looking at the leader with her grass-green eyes.

Shallowstar glared at Flameblight, she whisped her tail and grabbed her kits and was heading home, unnoticed. She wasnt needed out here, nobody cared about her. She could leave the forest, and nobody would notice, except Redstar...

"I'm Ripplekit." said the kit proudly. "And I'm going to be the best warrior in RiverClan when I grow up!" she squeaked, bouncing on her paws. Then she added, "Except for Icestar. She'll ALWAYS be the best." Ripplekit mewed admiringly.

Flameblight smiled at the young kit.

"I'm sure you will,"

Flameblight meowed with a twinkle in her eyes. She caught the glare of another leader and flicked her tail at the she-cat. It seemed so easy to make enemies when you were a... what had they called her... kittypet. Flameblight sighed, but then looked at Ripplekit.

'At least somebody doesn't loathe me because of where I come from,'

Flameblight thought to herself.

'I guess I'll just have to prove those arrogant cats wrong.'

Scarpaw looked at the red cat with sympathy in her golden eyes. She knew what it was like to be alone and judged by the clan cats.

'I hope that cat can prove herself, or she'll have a hard time living in the clans.'

Scarpaw thought, before padding back to her clan with her leader.

"As Ripplekit already explained," Icestar meowed with a mrrrow of amusement. "I am Icestar, and I am from RiverClan. You are welcome to join us. We do not judge cats from where they come from! I am a half-Clan cat! Some of my Clan were loners, yet they fight better than clanborn cats!" She flicked her tail to Fireclaw. "Please take the warriors back to Camp, Fireclaw." He nodded, blinking sympathetically at Flameblight, then called the cats together. Icestar turned back to Flameblight. "You are welcome to come with us."

(And the prophecy in the beginning, okay. We just need to choose the cats. Icestar is one- Redstar was going to be another, but...)

She caught the scent of Scotty, she shook her head, "I'm not goint to talk to her..she practicly hates me." She glared into the direction of Scotty, though.

Shallowstar bit herself, and Redstar was gone. She left, and anyway, nobody noticed. They were fighting over the stupid kittypet. "I just might as well leave the forest," she told herself.

She reached camp and called Scarpaw to her den.

Ripplekit bounced around on her paws, looking expectantly up at Flameblight, also waiting for her answer. She then cast a glance at Icestar and raced away to find Silverpaw and Windpaw. "Silverpaw! Over here!" she yowled as she saw a tail tip flicker in the moonlight.
