"Yes, I've heard. I tried to reason with your father about that but I ended up with my flames almost extingiushed. Sheesh. That man can get angreh!" Hephaestus exclaimed with a laugh.

Athena nodded at Aizel.
"Rise, my child." she ordered and watched as Aizel humbly obeyed. "Me and your father have come here to take the final decision." she stated proudly. Even in casual conversations, Athena's voice sounded godly and strict as if she was giving orders.

"Yes, that's what we're here for." remembered Hephaestus and stepped next to Athena. "My dear, are you sure you want to remain on Earth?" he asked.

Aizel nodded curtly.
"I'm completely sure. I want to stay here and study the human aesthetics." she stated firmly.

Alex nodded, "Yeah he can get very angry and when he is angry you don't want to get in his way. Asteria walked over and looked at Hephaestus and said, "She flooded a city and that deserves punishment. She is..." Alex cut her off with a glare and Asteria continued a little more cautious knowing her daughter didn't want her age to be told to everyone. "....Old enough to know better," she finished. Alex glared at her and said, "That still gives you no right to take away my powers." Poseidon appeared next to Asteria and said, "Yes it does."

Sirius stepped forward and said, "You could have punished her another way." Ginger and Flame stood next to him and said, "You could have done many things besides take away her power."

Athen nodded.
"Very well then. I know that you are a itelligent child but I must warn you, I want no trouble, are we understood?" she asked warningly.

Aizel nodded.

With a smile, Athen disappeared in pure light.

Hephaestus shook his head.
"That woman..." he mumbled with a chuckle and then turned to Poseidon. "I must intrude here. I believe it would've been nicer to have taken only one of her gifts away. That way, my dear Poseido, she would've learned how to handle her only power quite better and would've learned to be responsible. And if another accident happens, then and only then would it be okay to take her other power as well. I belieave your punishment will have almost no effect on her excapt making her rebel more." he tried to reason with the god.

Alex watched the gods compromise, she looked at Aizel and said, "I love my parents but they can get so annoying. I mean I am a major god and without my power many things will go wrong." She then said to her parents, "I promise that if you give me my powers back I will use them responsibly." Alex promised. Asteria and Poseidon glanced at each other and sighed, "Fine you can keep your powers but one slip up and you will lose them for awhile." They warned and then walked away hand in hand.

Lexi had wandered back to where all of the gods were after Kenneth had left. It hadn't felt right just standing there. When she turned into the room, the gods were standing by their children and talking. Lexi immediately wished that she had stayed with Demeter and waited for Kenneth to come back. She reached into her pocket and nervously fidgeted with the charm that Kenneth had given her.

Kenneth looked at himself. He now radiated a soft bluish purplish glow. He teleported to Lexi.

Lexi jumped as Kenneth appeared out of nowhere. "Hey?" She said, a little confused.

Alex smiled as she turned toward Hephaestus, "Thanks." She leaned down and her wolves began to whisper something in her ear. Alex nodded and said to the wolves, "Yes you guys can go, you have worked hard today. Go to my house and chill," she told them and they trotted off.

Hephaestus nodded a 'goodbye' to Alex and vanished just as he had appreared - in flames and smoke. Aizel rolled her eyes.
"Why do they always have to be so dramatic?" she asked the girl and let out a stubborn huff.

Alex laughed, "Who knows? Although sometimes it is fun to make a dramatic exit." She said with a laugh.

Aizel nodded.
"Yeah... but it's embarassing when your dad decides to vanish in flames and suddenly a posh god party ends up on fire! I refused to go out for a week, it was so embarassing!" she squeaked.

Alex nodded, "My mother once left in a flash of light as bright as a star and left everyone blind for a week." She said, "That was pretty embarrassing and then once my dad left in a whirlwind of a hurricane and destroyed anything within a mile radius of him."

"Yeah, I can relate... Ebarassing parents are embarassing. Gosh, you should've seen my mum's first visit to Earth. She cursed a car's headlight for bumping into her and then proclaimed her mighty power in front of the Starbucks counter... Yeah. don't ask." she sulked.

Alex smiled and said, "Maybe she was hoping that hey would give her extra cream and sugar. My dad once threatened a man with his trident because he was eating a fish."

"Man, parents and their weirdness. Is your dad overprotective? 'Cause mine once banished a boy to the depths of a volcano for talking to me. Not that I care, he was dumb anyways and I gotta admit, I 've never liked someone but it's embarassing for a dad to do that." she exclaimed.

Alex shook her head, "No because my dad knows that I am not interested in guys. A boy once tried to kiss me because I saved his life and my dad saw me skewer him with my sword. So I don't think he is very worried about that."

Alex glanced around, she seemed nervous as if she thought something was going to happen. Her senses were tingling and she knew that he was coming. She sighed and wondered how he had found her so fast. She had tried to be unnoticeable but then again she was Aled and drew a lot of attention, with her powers, attitude, and she did look a lot different from the other gods. He would have found her sooner or later but she had hoped that it would be later.

Lexi noticed that Alex seemed to be freaked out. It was very out of character for her which made it even odder to Lexi. "Alex, you okay?" She called softly.

"Alex, who?!" Lexi's voice rose a little as she grabbed Alex's arm. "Alex please tell me, let me help you!" The urgency in her voice grew.
