And they did good with that" Awen said bitterly. "And when that was done, they injected me with something. I never heard or see much, my vision was always blurred, maybe through what they did. After they injected something in me, they took me back to the cage, and.... and.... Once, they took me to another room. I-it was so h-horrible!" Awen cried out loud now.

Alex gently patted her on the shoulder, "It's ok Awen, you don't have to continue if you don't wanted." She said softly, not wanting to cause Awen to become sadder then she already was.

It seemed Awen didnt hear Alex. "That room" she murmered. "Full of torture. Rock type mutants in water tanks, to see if they were more pokemon or more human. If more pokemon, they would sink and never get up again... If human, they would be tested. Machines, where mutants were brought in. Some awful noises, and no mutants would come out... They took me there. They wanted to get rid of me. I became so wild I managed to escape the machine. They then saw something in me, and decided to experiment, with me...." Awen was in herself now, not noticing Alex or even the fact she was still talking, to nobody.

Bolt jumped over something and raced ahead.

Sky laughed at the two boys. She got an idea. She tied meat to a string and and climbed up a tree with it. She let the meat rest on the ground. The boys came up to it and she jumped out on them. "BOO!" They jumped backwards.

Alex realized that Awen didn't notice she was there and she just listened. She didn't want to disrupt Awen and she nodded slowly, hoping that in the end Awen would feel better instead of worse.

Skyla laughed. Her nose tingled. She smelled wild berries. Skyla wandered back down the hill. Cheri Berries. She plucked them one by one, until they were gone. She held them with her dress. "Hey! I found Cheri Berries!" She shouted, running up the hill.

He knew it. His sould, barely connected to his body, wanted to leave. Unless someone would, or just could help him, he wouldnt be long here. He managed to get his aura in his body, and he moved. Carefully, to keep the inside pain low, he stood up. His aura told him where Awen was. Awen.... A warm feeling came in his body. He wanted to see her before he left, if he left.

Awen just sat down, ignoring anything but her feelings. She wanted to feel the pain. It was her fault, all hers. That she was still here. What was going on with her? She was once so strong. And now....

With a smile she stood up, facing Alex. "What can we do? Nothing. There's nothing left to do." And before anyone could do something she threw her body to the wall. She fell on the ground and started to claw herself.


Ray hurried, feeling an aura that was about to destroy itself. "Awen, no!" his aura screamed to her.

Alex was so surprised by Awen's sudden movement that she didn't have time to stop her. She finally got with the program and she shot to her feet, "No Awen, don't do this to yourself!" She yelled trying to restrain her from hurting herself.

Awen was crying, because of pain, memories and the fact she hated to see how careful Alex was. She didnt want her to care about her, it was only harder. But at the same moment it helped her. She managed to calm down a bit, and laid on the ground, eyes closed, tears on her cheeks, taking very slow breaths, and wounds everywhere. But she didnt feel the pain the most. She looked up at Alex, but couldnt say anything. She was too tired and depressed.

At the same moment Ray came in the hall, seeing Awen on the ground and Alex standing besides her. Ignoring Alex, he rushed to Awen and kneeled down, just to sit and cry quietly.

Alex took a step back and just watched the two. She was once again in her Pokemon form and her red eyes shone with sorrow.

Awen did nothing else than looking. Looking at Ray. Seeing Alex. She didnt trust her mouth so she let her eyes speak. "Im so sorry" was what you could see in her eyes. Tears still leaping over her cheeks.

Ray only sat besides Awen, holding her. "Awen..." he whispered. "Its okay. Look at me. I want you to promise me one thing. Never scare me so much again, okay?" and a tear leaped over his cheek. "You must survive, not hurt yourself..."

Awen looked him in the eyes and gave him a little smile.

Ray looked over his shoulder at Alex. "I think I know what you're thinking." A small smile curled his lips. "And you may know. Yes, I love Awen."

With those four words spoken, Awen was filled with a wamr feeling, not feeling the pain anymore. "Ray..." was the only thing she said, before kissing him.

Alex then very slowly and carefully began to walk forward. She headd towards the weapon's room where they had left the others and she toook great care not to shake, in fear that Awen would fall off.
