Chickens

Well, we've decided that once we get our fence up we shall adopt three chickens for pets. I'm not sure which breeds to get or anything. We want BROWN eggs, but mostly the chicks are just for pets.

I think it's cruel to just put them in a box, so I'm going to bring a cat crate down to pick them up. We'll be sure to keep an eye out for hawks or other cats, but we know how to handle our other pets around them.

I also need to decide names for them. I said Katniss, Gale, and Peeta, but nobody else agrees. OnO

One thing you shouldn't do is name them after the freaking Hunger Games. So I don't agree either. xD *smacked*

Give them cute chicken names. XD

ALSO: If you have chickens that lay eggs they are HENS.

HENS ARE FEMALES. Peeta and Gale, I'm pretty sure are MALE.

I had 3 chickens, 2 of them stopped laying so we gave them away. 😋 As for names?
