Tara was walking home from school, reflecting on the fresh bout of teasing she had just gotten. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a quick flash and suddenly grew sleepy. (btw she can't feel, so that was a dart)

Felicia followed Mari and Nafe, irritated that she hadn't been noticed. She had only been noticed in her life when she stole something from a thrift market to stay alive. She growled impatiently.

Nafhe clenched her fists. She opened one hand and began forming a ball of pink fire in it. She felt a slight pounding of her head, and a few muffled words of Alyxis. "Knock...off...st--" She blocked her out and gritted her teeth.

Light growled as Sylvix taunted Nafhe. She had grown some what attached to the timid girl, and wouldn't stand for her being teased. "Hey you, yes you." Light advanced towards Sylvix. "Stop picking on her, because you're jealous of her awesomeness."

Nafhe calmed down a bit and smiled. She was happy she had friends that would stand up for her. The ball of fire withered a little.

Alyxis went over to a table that had lots of flasks, needles, and buttons. She pressed one. In the arms and bottoms of the chair, little spots opened where metal bands attached and made it pretty much impossible for Leona to escape. "I can finally harness mutant's power and use them for myself and finally, one day, be the ruler of the world." she said to Leona, turning around with a large shot in her hand.

Nafhe calmed down all the way and sighed.

Alyxis laughed. "I don't know if you've ever met Nafhe, but I already have her powers." She admired the shininess of the needlepoint. "That may be why she absolutely despises me, is afraid of EVERYTHING, and is hard to communicate with." she shrugged. Then, she sterilized the inside of Leona's elbow with a wipe. "This will only hurt a bit." She stuck the needle in as fast as she could to try and avoid Leona's powers from activating.

Leona stood up, out of her bonds. Her eyes were fiery with fury, and her body had turned into magma. The steel bands that had once held her back were melted harmlessly around her. The syringe needle was half melted, and the glass was warping. But Alyxis had a sample of her blood, but it was mingling with a flow of lava that came after it.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHGH!!!!!!!" Leona screamed and ran outside the room, still on fire, but her flames fading. She ran and ran and ran, screaming the entire way until she ran out of breath, and then she screamed some more.

Alyxis screamed. "No! She'll tell the others!" Using telepathy, she stopped Leona right in her tracks and sent her an excruciating headache. There was a tiny bit of good blood left after she got rid of the magma. Working fast, she put it in a test tube.

Alyxis walked out to where Leona was. She grabbed her and dragged her back to the lab so she could say what the consquences of telling the others were.
