I like this idea...it could be hard/random to earn it, like on neopets, or you could earn it by completing advertiser offers. But I DO think that it would be good to have an option to get CC without buying it.

Even if it is converting EC or doing competitions or monthly CC (getting a small amount each month)

I think it would be so much fairer

well for the people that buy cc I have manny of times before I woundent be mad if there was other whys of getting more cc there are lots of time when there no possible why I can buy a cc creature and would be really nice to get some free and there lots of people that cant aford to buy them even once and sometimes poeple whant a lot just for one cc creature and cant even trade for them I really like the ec to cc conversion Idea

Actually, he isn't on Neopets. He runs The Daily Neopets (TDN), a site that has links to all dailies, hints about upcoming events, items, and colors, almost every list of Neopets stuff you can think of, etc. I don't think he gets money from it.

And like @asi said, Ian was losing money before CC came around. If there was even a chance of getting some for free, nobody would ever buy any, and Ian would continue losing money, then probably have to shut down the site eventually. Unless, of course, the chance was reeeeeeeeaaally low. As in, 1 in 50 or 1 in 100. 😋

Ian has to pay to keep the site running. Without CC, he would've gone broke sooner or later and the site would go down D:

I think it's a good idea, something like the mysterious asteroid and creatures from it, there should be something giving out CC in small amounts and rarely.
