So some people know (due to the topic I posted on Friday and want to destroy) that I had a burning hatred for the Hunger Games. X'DI don't know anymore... Because last night... I had this dream...I was standing in my kitchen, and my little sis ran out of her room holding one of the Hunger Games books. I looked down at my hand, and I was holding the first one.It seemed to be late, so I ran up to my room and started reading it, which was strange because I heard it's hard to read in dreams. All I remember was that it was like a movie was playing on one side of the pages while some random words showed on the other side. The text seemed somewhat mideivel *spelling fail*, even though I know the books are in the future? So, another strange thing.I kept saying to myself, "I know I'm dreaming. I'm definitely dreaming. But this feels so real..." So I achieved lucidity, but I ignored it completely.Pretty soon the book turned into a big movie screen. Like, I didn't even exist, I was maybe part of the air, watching a fake movie. Then I saw a bunch of kids who had just killed some girl, and they were eating her over a huge fire.Which I know (or at least hope) never actually happens in the story. I mean the eating, most of them die I think, but they're not cannibal. O_OIt was messed up. But it made me rethink my whole hatred thing...But now I'm so intrigued in hearing about the movie, and I completely ignored my past feelings towards it. I don't understand.

@Dreamer Don't worry. No eating of the deceased in the Hunger Games. xDToday in world history we read a quote that said "You will live, but you will be very, very thin."My teacher asked what it meant. Someone said,"The Hunger Games!" ....I really hate my class. 😋
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 4:54 PM
@Dawnie Good. 😃 Some people were telling me they did. But good thing they don't. XDO_O FAIL. lol. All the teachers in my classes kept asking everyone if they watched it.It's crazy to me how many people have seen that movie MORE than twice. But you know. Just me.
zafeyry • 26 March 2012 at 4:54 PM
@dreamerI started re-reading it today, and I have to say, it's great. My language arts teacher talked about it today xD
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 4:56 PM
@zafeyry I'm too lazy to read the books. And the movie looks better. 😋 If I can manage to see the movie without my dad knowing (he told me that wasn't for kids, and I almost wanted to puke on him), then I'll get the books at my school library later on or something. ^^
zafeyry • 26 March 2012 at 4:56 PM
@dreamerAlmost everybody in my classes saw it, I feel so left out 😋
Deleted • 26 March 2012 at 4:57 PM
@dreamer I dunno why they would. It's not gonna change. xDI can't wait 'till Catching Fire. It was my favorite. 😸 FINNICK. ❤️ (Another guy I fan-girl about xD)@Zafeyry I wish everyone would read them, people are watching the movie without reading them, then saying it's "stupid" "confusing" it ticks me off
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 4:58 PM
@Zafeyry I'm like the only person in my grade who hasn't seen that movie. It's crazy. O-O
zafeyry • 26 March 2012 at 5:00 PM
@dreamerI'm in all advanced, so all the nerds have seen it 😋 Not many other people have, though.
jaidyn • 26 March 2012 at 5:00 PM
@dreamerWell, in past Games, people have eaten each other...dead and alive. 0.0
hay7199 • 26 March 2012 at 5:01 PM
Well there is caniblaism in the past in the hunger games book...Some guy ate a girl from district 6
toy • 26 March 2012 at 5:04 PM
...how can you hate a book that you've never seen or a movie you've never saw? That's ridiculous.
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 5:09 PM
@Toy -_-I'm not going to get into this again. What was ridiculous to me is how much people talk about it. It's been like this for weeks now, and the hype is even bigger now.But I'm not talking about that. >.<@Dawnie O-O Right? That's one thing I don't get. If I wanted to see it 5 times, I'd wait for the dvd 😋These people have the strangest names...
Deleted • 26 March 2012 at 5:15 PM
@Dreamer My friend has an Uncle Gale.I'll name my kid Finnick so I can call him Finn!~ ❤️
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 5:17 PM
@Dawnie 😱XD Again. Awkward names.
april__ • 26 March 2012 at 5:18 PM
I'm a stubborn person. I have a hard time giving anything a chance if it's really popular to younger teen girls. xD I am tempted to give the books a shot, though.
carter • 26 March 2012 at 5:21 PM
@dreamer The HUnger Games is the most talked about book of the year and am 90% sure that it is the bigest movie hit, like ever im not sure though, but it made more money on its midnight promere than Twilight's. So its really great, and i think everyone should read it, ive only met one person Irl that dose not like a movie, they said it was boring but then again they dont really like anything the majority likes.(sorry for all my fail spelling)
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 5:22 PM
@April__That's EXACTLY my dillema. 😋 No one understands it though.I might try reading 'em though. If I won't be seeing the movie any time soon, it's better to know the truth.I just like reading books that aren't this well known. So people ask questions about what I'm reading instead of already knowing everything. 😸
pebblestar-nightclan • 26 March 2012 at 5:31 PM
@dreamerI'm probably younger than you, and I've read the books and seen the movie. xDAnyways, yeah. Try reading the books before watching the movie. :^D
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 5:47 PM
@Pebblestar-nightclan Are you 12 or younger? ^^ XDI'll try teading the books then. 😸
pebblestar-nightclan • 26 March 2012 at 5:51 PM
@dreamerAlmost 12. 😋Yeah, they're really good. I'm surprised you ever hated them. Maybe because their popularity? Just like I hate popular girls (the ones who are full of themselves.) 8D
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 5:53 PM
@Pebblestar-nightclanHaha. xD I'm 12. And... 3 months and 19 days. 😋There's just a point where I get sick of hearing about it. I pretty much know the ending about it. People WOULDN'T STOP talking about it today, and I'm not even kidding. O_o My friend mentioned it in every single class. I had to listen through all through Advisory, too.
pebblestar-nightclan • 26 March 2012 at 5:55 PM
@dreamerThat makes sense. I'm a Hunger Games fan, but I don't talk about it constantly. It's starting to get annoying even to me.But, alas, I am PEBBLE, the Annoyed. I'm constantly annoyed even by the little things, and my temper isn't pretty. xD
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 5:57 PM
@Pebblestar-nightclan Exactly. ^^ A few months ago I went to a book fair, and almost bought the first book, but someone told me not to.So since then it's been a hit. Like, anything I don't read turns out to be all over the place, and once I start reading it no one cares. >.<So Im gonna be behind everyone else this time, too. Oh well. 😋I'm always annoyed. Look, I'm not a nice person. I'm mean. I get it. And I don't care. xD That's what I tell people. I have a bad temper too. 😸
pebblestar-nightclan • 26 March 2012 at 6:00 PM
@dreamerYeah, people just have to deal with it. 😸So, yup, I'm pretty much always known as Queen Pebble-chan the Temperous Annoyed.Nah, not really.
dreamer • 26 March 2012 at 6:02 PM
@Pebblestar_nightclan It annoys me though, the fact that no one ever accepts my opinion. When other people say they like something, everyone else agrees. Whereas when I like something, no one agrees. :/ I hate people judging me. So much. Stupid cruel world.
toy • 26 March 2012 at 7:44 PM
Then...You don't hate the hunger games.you hate the craze.you can't hate something you've never tried.Juuat saying.
balletninja • 26 March 2012 at 8:10 PM
@dawnie FINNICK! 😃YESH!AND BEETEE AND WIRESS!But mainly FINNICK!
april__ • 26 March 2012 at 8:17 PM
@dreamer, completely with you! I'm the same way with music normally. No one understands my dilemma either. They're just like, 'just read them already!'The only 'popular' series I like is Harry Potter, but that's because I read it before it became famous. I love that JK Rowling got lots of attention, but it bothers me how so many people are obsessed with the movies. Often people forget about the books for HP where I live. Only I've read them that I know. So, I'm torn between hunger games, or no hunger games. I wish I'd just read them awhile back when my friend suggested it before they became so popular.
orange • 26 March 2012 at 8:22 PM
@dreamerActually in the book there is this thing where this guy eats people after he kills them in the Hunger Games and they kill him....but it wasn't in the game that Katniss was in 😋But they DO kill this girl BY a fire in the very beginning of the start of the game 😊So maybe you heard 2 people talking about them and your brain did a weird thing and mixed both together? 😋
