My Review Of The Hunger Games Movie. ^_^ (SPOILER ALERTS)

Well, I actually quite enjoyed the previews, but let's just to it. X)

Katniss looks epic in combat boots. 😸 No offense, I have read the books over and over again, but she should have a little more respect for her mom. And Gale, wow, he's just more easy-going like then I thought~.

And Madge wasn't even part of the movie. o: Katniss bought the pin at the Hob. I always thought the Hob was more outdoor-sies. 😋

But when they do the Opening Ceremonies, Katniss just looks...amazing. *u* The fire and the balck leathery costume. ❤️ Girl on Fire.❤️

AND OH MY GOSH. CAESAR FLICKERMAN'S THEME SONG AND STARTING WAS JUST SO CATCHY. XD

The training center..... those tributes are epic. (Not to mention Clove & Glimmer are so pretty. 😋)
Foxface too~! And Katniss in that sheer orangey shirt in her Capital penthouse level was nice, and Katniss looks beautiful with her hair down.

I just love Clove's way around with those knifes. I just really like her character. XD

Hey, you remembered Clove! I think shes pretty cool, but most people forget her. I'm like, "Yep, I like Foxface, Clove and Cato." and then they say, "Who was Clove again?" Its so annoying!!

Anyways, I liked the movie. But I personally think that Cato was disappointing at the end because he isn't evil and he starts crying.

i was SCARED when the mutt jumped out and attacked Peeta. Also, everyone in the theatre did the 3 sign when Katniss did it, when Rue died.

I agree with like, everything. When Katniss and Foxface ran into eachother at the beginning, I was like, "I would do the EXACT same thing." LOL

In the movie theatre, when the mutt jumped out, I heard someone gasp. And when Rue died, someone whispered, "is she dead??" It was so funny.
I agree with sstwins, the Cato speech at the end was not very career-like.

I really thought Katniss would die with Cato? allied Peeta on their side just for 'temporary'. DD:

@snowrosehell She IS in 3 books, so of course she'd make it. Peeta only was on the career pack 'cuz he loved Katniss and he knew she'd die if they found her.

@Sarahzafirah I know, I jumped when they came out. It was pretty scary. I don't scare easily, but that did it.

@linpung No, the old lady was Greasy Sae. Madge Undersse was the mayor's daughter. Sae is a old lady who makes soup alot. (I think she sells it. Dunno -brain drain...)

@trish Ikr?! I thought it WAS outdoors! My sister [arrowdancer] said "I knew the Hob was indoors" But I mean, they never said if I remember correctly. It seems like it would be outdoors. I mean really. But whatevs.

Yes, someone really DID ask when Rue died, after the camera doing that, and after Katniss was doing the hysterical crying.

This one person made up this version of dynamite:
(I didn't get permission, so only use it in real life. Don't use it on the computer 'cuz if the person saw it was on other sites they'd be mad. [I found it on nother site.])
Katniss' version of Dynamite:
I blow supplies up in the air, singin' ay-oh, take that Cato/I hope Peeta's still alive/Ay-oh, where is Cato.
So that's it. Again, DO NOT USE THIS ON OTHER SITES, thankyou. Only for use in RL. I didn't have permission so they'd probably be mad.

Madge is not an important character, and they needed to show how much Katniss cares for Prim. That is also why Katniss was so upset about Rue, because Rue reminded her of Prim. (Rue is also my favorite character! ❤️)
I wish they explained the muttations, and also that Katniss was doing the whole "in love with Peeta" thing as an act.

Madge WAS in the movie, when Katniss was at the trading place, she noticed the mockingjay pin and madge gave it to her as a good luck present.

I was slightly confused where Cato was /kind-of/ strangling Peeta.
I wasn't sure who was who and I was like, 'PEETA KEEP STRANGL-- oh right that's Cato @_@"'

Foxface was cool. B) And I want a name like that. X'D She did have a good strategy... Until she ate those berries...

I hated Cato. A lot. X3 I already knew how the movie ended beforehand, and I knew how Cato died. So the whole time I was saying to myself; "He's gonna die, he's gonna die, he's gonna die..."

Haymitch confused me. O_o He seemed careless in the beginning, but then during the Games he kept sending Sponsor gifts?

And in the scene where Rue died, and Katniss surrounded her with flowers and put the little bouget in her hand and kissed her on the forehead... I was like, "Here come the tears." ._.

I think Rue is my age. Meaning I'd most likely die if I were in a real Hunger Games. DX

The camera seemed pretty shaky at parts.. But I think that was for effect, right?

We saw it Saturday night at the Drive-In with a full moon 😊

I'm not a huge fan or anything so thought it was a good movie. Mainly went cause my son wanted to see it. Nor do I know all the characters and don't care to be corrected on their names. Can ask my son if I cared enough 😉

Jumped at the 1st Cannonball vs the creatures. I also had a MP3 player in my ear to listen to it. So each time one went off it was rather loud for me lol

Katniss is very pretty and loved her side braid hair do. Very good actress. Much better than Kristen Stewart. Really anything is better than Twilight as a whole lol The flaming scene was done really well. I loved all the Patriotic aspects tho.

I LOVE Woody Harrelson and really made the movie for me. Did not know he was in it.

I can see why people like it but to me still a bit to hyped up. Bit slower paced then expected.

@Luvmykids244 I went on Saturday night as well, on that full moon. I probably would have seen it sooner except my dad was too over-protective and thought it would be too violent. >.< But we get out of the theater and all he says is that it was boring. X'D

I'm not in on the hype and I haven't read the books, but I did like the movie. I didn't mind it being slow, because it would probably be that way in a book. Usually books take a while to get into the event, and cutting down that time for the film would annoy fans. 😋

I don't have anything bad to say about it though... Just that it made me cry at some parts. ;P

The first cannonball freaked me out, and I almost flew out of my seat when the dog came out of nowhere and jumped on Peeta!

I was a bit worried about my daughter but explained to her before hand what would happen. She was fine. I agree with your Dad lol I was going by reviews that said at other places it was action packed and it was not. Then again others were saying it was too slow cause it had to fill in those who have not read the books.

I do differentiate between books and movies as they are different and rightly so 😊

i really liked the movie and the books are even better but it kinda ticked me off when i herd these guys talking about the sean when Rue died and they have not even read the books, it was really mean what they said, i just wanted to smack them. lol
