GrayFlood tensed, and howled.
BrightStar growled. She was ready to fight.

Bloodrose stared up and gasped. The warriors around her started to growl.


Dusk heard the war cry, but knew it wasn't for them. "You see, this is a learning experience." he told the wolves he were training.
"That pack just announced their battle. The ShadowStrikes are going to move in silently, then strike our foes down hard. I hope, for the sake of our pack, that we have no foes, though."

BrightStar rushed into battle, hoping for victory.
GrayFlood hoped everything would be all right....

Bloodrose stood up, wobbiley. With a panicked look on her face, she turned to Lostlight. "Please. Stay by my side, and fight with me." she asked him.
"Of course, my love."Lostlight smilied at Bloodrose. "I won't let no one touch you."

Lostlight growled, and sprung towards C.T, claws sharp.

Bloodrose fell to the ground, in no condition to fight, our even WANT to fight.
"Please, don't harm me! I'm with pups!!!!" she exclaimed.
"What?" Lostlight asked.
"I was going to tell you, but they attacked..." Bloodrose whimpered to her mate.

BrightStar fought off a wolf near by, and heard the conversation.
"C.T...." BrightStar whispered,sadened.

Lostlight would do anything to protect his mate. He launched himself at C.T's back, growling.
Bloodrose unsteadily stood up.
"Rose, run." he commanded his mate as he tried to sink his teeth into C.T's neck.

Bloodrose didn't want to leave Lostlight.
"Bloodrose, run, please, i'll be fine." Lostlight pleaded with his mate.
Bloodrose licked Lostlight's muzzle.
"Be safe, my love." she told him, then fled into the woods.

Her body tensed, and she heared rustling.
Lostlight emerged from the trees.
"Lostlight you're okay!!" Bloodrose exclaimed, happy.

Starless fought three wolves at once, weaving around them and using his superior agility to his advantage. Seeing some Fireclaws approach him nervously as if to help, he had an idea. He used his tail to signal them to set up an ambush further up...

BrightStar slashed a wolf in the face, leaving deep cuts. She fought to wound, heavily, but never to kill. Wars could be won, without heavy bloodshed, but if a wolf tried to kill her, or another one of her comrands, she would kill them, it was only fair.
That's why she was shocked to see C.T chase after a fleeing wolf, the one they had captured. He looked like he would not return to the battlefield, he would look after his pregnant mate.
And that was also why, BrightStar took chase to C.T. She wanted to know what was up with her.

GrayFlood kicked sand in a wolf's eyes, and kicked him backwards off of him, using his hind legs, and quickly slashed the wolf's underbelly. The Fireclaw wolf, retreated away, whimpering. GrayFlood stood up, and shook himself off. "Where was Val??"

They had her cornered. Val backed up against the cave wall, looking for a weak point she could break through their lines. But there wasn't one. They advanced on her as one. She howled for help desperately.

GrayFlood's ear perked up at Val's desperate howl.
He quickly rush to where he heard it, and saw Val conered.
GrayFlood growled, and slashed at one of the wolves, trying to distract them.

Val used the distraction to leap onto the back of the largest, she recalled his name was Torn, and deliver a incapacitating blow to his head. "Thanks!" She called to Grayflood before whipping round to face the attacking wolf on her left. She snarled at her, putting on her best fight face, and to her surprise, the wolf, who admittedly was not much older than her, scarpered.

Grayflood pushed the wolf away from himself, and clawed his face, and watched as the wolf ran off, stumbling from the blood in his eyes.
"Your welcome.... Are we winin......" Grayflood was got his breath taken away after a rather large wolf rammed into him, and stood over him, snarling.
GrayFlood felt sharp claws rake down his sides, and he tried to push the wolf off of him, but no avil, the enemy wolf was too heavy.
Then the other wolf attacked, with it's teeth aimed for Grayflood's neck.....

"No!" Val hurled herself at the large wolf holding him down, the momentum barely making him stumble, but distracting. She bit and scratched at his side angrily.

Grayflood didn't waste an moment. He quickly wiggled out of the wolf's grasp, and started to slash at the wolf, angered. "Thanks Val." Grayflood told Val as he tripped the wolf using his paws.
