improper grammar is awesome when you're playing around..
note to all new RPers: not when you're roleplaying. 😊

I feel the need to mention this.

"Are you going to the store today?" She said.

"Yes, I am." He replied.

THIS IS INCORRECT.

"Are you going to the store today?" she said.

"Yes, I am," he replied.

This is correct! When someone is using dialogue the sentence continues.

EXAMPLES:

"I'm so tired," she complained, kicking her feet up in the air as she lay on her bed unable to sleep.

"This sucks," he muttered under his breath as he kicked a rock down the gutter.

"I don't understand why you got a detention!" his mother scolded him.

ALL ARE CORRECT.

I just am sick of seeing this mistake. XD I've said my two cents, and I'm off now! XD

NOTE: This isn't really related to grammar and spellng but it's a good tip for new Roleplayers nonetheless.

~*~I'd like to add another RPing tip~*~

When you roleplay with someone else, make sure to make your character prompt the other character to react in some way.

For example,
User A: Harry Potter sat in the classroom and listened to Professor Snape's lecture.

User B: Ronald Wesley... did something?

This is dull and boring. User A has not done anything significant and User B would not know how to respond to this. It is not necessary to the RP unless it has a meaning such as:

User A: Harry Potter sat in the classroom and listened to Professor Snape's lecture - something which he had never done before. Harry had always day-dreamed in class or doodled in his books instead of paying attention.

This emphasises the fact that it was not Harry Potter's usual behaviour to be listening to Snape's lecture.
