Noah stood up and shook his fur before stretching, the warm sunlight flooded down from where the sun sat high up in the sky. Noah could tell he had sleep much longer than intended. He began to pad off in the direction of a small puddle to get a drink, Noah's stomach growled as he lapped up the muddy water. He shook of his hunger and began to listen for the sounds of prey, although he knew he was much to small to catch a real meal he couldn't just sit there and starve. Determined to satisfy his hunger he stalked off to a group of tight woven pine trees. He let his senses flow around him, expecting to hear the soft scatches of prey he was shoeless to hear loud pawsteps not far from were he stood.

Ria kept on walking beside Sirius as they lead the cat back to camp.

Demine pricked his ears up as he heard something. He was hunting. He caught a few squirrels, but that was it really. "Who's there?"

Noah looked around for a place to hide then quickly plunged into one of the nearby pine trees. As soon as he hit the inside of the tree he felt a sharp pain shoot through his whole body, it felt like a million bee's stung him all at once. Noah couldn't help but to howl out with pain, his feet were not touching the ground and he could feel his belly being torn into as small drops of blood began to swell up and drip to the branches below. Noah tilted his head and yelp once more as a pain swept across his forehead. He could see millions of jagged thorns sticking out of thickly woven vines that tangled around the inner part of the pine tree. Noah whimpered as his weight pushed the thorns deeper into his soft belly. "Help!" he howled hoping someone would save him.

Demine heard the yowls of pain and raced toward the noise. It didn't sound like anyone familiar. Usually Demine would be wary about wolves and foxes who show up unexpectedly, but he needed to help this one. He saw a patch of fur sticking out of a pine tree and ran toward it. He grabbed Noah's fur and started to pull him out. Demine's very strong.

Noah yelped as someone grabed him and began to pull, the thorns that were imbeded in his skin began to tear his stomach, dark scarlet blood dripped out and covered his fur before dropping onto the ground. "Stop!!!" he howled "your hurting me!" he whimpered.

(sorry it's so short, I gotta go.)

As they neared te camp Sirius howled again. He was once again answered by the same howls. He looked at Ria, "They have been a bit heavier on guard since you left so they were telling us to hurry so that we can get in quickly and they can keep the guard in order. After the attack of those beasts and then you following us. They will probably feel calmer once you get back."

Flare sat in the middle of camp and waited for the arrival of Ria, Sirius, and the cat.

Demine let go when he heard the fox's wails. He stuck out his paw and batted away all the thorns that were hurting the animal. He then started to pull the fox back out again.

Ria smiled awkwardly. "Yeah.. I probably shouldn't have left the pack for that long.. But I had fun. I haven't had that much fun in a while! Well- back to duties now." She sighed. Sometimes being a leader could be hard. But at times, she loved it. The wolves and foxes in the pack were all nice and caring creatures.

Sirius nodded and walked away to join Flare who was talking to a few foxes. He knew that Flare didn't ever want a mate because he was already in love with someone else but they had left many moons ago. What about him? He wasn't sure and then began to chat casually with the foxes and Flare.
