Ria widened her eyes in shock. "That beast killed your mother..? I'm so sorry.." She said as she remembered that the beast had a scar on his face. "Your mother's probably glad that you survived." She said. "But.. How'd it kill your mom, but not you two?"

Demine nodded as he walked to the water. It was hard him to be patient as it took longer for a fish to come by. But finally one showed up. He waited till it was right in front of him, then speared his paw in and grabbed it, throwing it onto shore.
