Time zones

we should be able to set our time zone so the site will show the actual time where we live rather then the server time.

It's not exactly meant to be a personal clock to begin with. 😋 It's a universal time for all Egg Cave users on the site so you know when certain events will begin, such as the Asteroid resetting at 12:00 AM along with the Cave. Or perhaps when to search for a Terron from the cave at a certain time.

I agree with you @meteoroid. If you 'customized' your time, it wouldn't be fair since things would reset at diff. times (eg views/leaderboards/evolution)
