isnt hidan immortal and only got blown to piece but his head still can live and got trapped under ground seperatly by shikamaru?

I dont watch uncut,and it look me that long cause it was one once a week on TV.
On cut,kakashi and the others destracted Kakazu,while Shikamaru led Hidan into the forest, There,there was a trap,and hidan was "thrown" into a hole,being buried alive. Before he did,Shikamaru said that if he DID come back out,the forest animals would watch him for the rest of his life.
Some there was no mention of him getting his head cut off in Cut.

hidan is an immortal
he cant be killed
so he has very special jutsu
he draws a circle around himself
stabs himself while the same thing happens to his opponents
he cant die but his enemies can
shikamaru blew him up into little pieces
and buried his body all over the place
hidan swore revenge
shikamaru sweared animals watching him
