Easter originated as a holiday celebrating Peganism, where they worship mother nature and believe in witches and stuff. Since the Romans couldn't defeat the Pegans, they had to accept them, and change their holiday into a Christian one. Isn't it weird to think that your celebrating two religions at once? 😋

Easter egg hunting used to be people just hunting for food. Birds would only lay eggs in the spring, so kids would run around looking for a good egg meal... 😋

The reason why you see all these chick-bunny-lamb decorations is because Spring was the time when all the chicks would hatch, or when all the bunnies and lambs would be born.

Today we get chicken eggs year round because hens today are bred out to lay eggs all the time, usually once a day. Still, chickens don't lay as much during the winter, and my geese only lay eggs during spring, too.

Happy Easter!!! 😃
