How's it going?
Here's a new roleplay, brought you by me.

Just as surely as the wind blows and the river flows, there is always bound to be a time of discord.
Your story takes place in New York City, the city that never sleeps, the Big Apple, anything you want to call it, but to you, it's always been home. You've never been anywhere else, and based on what you've seen of your current world you're scared of what the rest of the world has to offer.

You've been beaten down, broken, and abandoned too many times for you to count, and you're angry. But what can you do about it? Absolutely nothing. Desperately though, you want to make a difference, so how will you make your impact on the world?

You join a group, that's just like you, "The Broken Ones" but what you do with the opportunity of finally fitting in, is up to you.

A note about this roleplay, it's different from most of the ones that I've seen so far. It's happening in real time, and you've got the opportunity to use personal details to build up the aspects of your character.
This is supposed to be reflecting real life problems, no one needs to make up a new place or new people, you can use the ones already living.

Disclaimer: If you submit a character, you're acknowledging the fact that nothing written or ideas expressed in this roleplay are intended to harm or anger others and will do your best to not "kick dirt" on subjects that could be sensitive to others.

Most of the choices are optional because I am HOPING everyone acts like they would in real life. There are no special talents, be reminded that your character should have been living in the streets and haven't really gotten a *formal* education yet. Try to tailor this more towards real life and giving your character a realistic feel than for the purposes of roleplay. Weakness are good, too many strengths are unrealistic 😸

Personality: Gullible, Sweet, Can be a jerk
Appearance: Tall girl, about 5' 4", with an hourglass figure. Her blonde hair goes down to her shoulders. Her eyes are blue, but can change to a blu-ish green as well.
Brief History: Was diagnosed with diabetes at 4, and now has to give at least 5 shots a day. She's had to deal with bullies being freaking brats to her. Her sisters hate her, and she has run away from home, hoping for a better life.
Goal: To have a good life for once, which she already know, will never happen.

@seaangel - I was planning to make it a private roleplay, more on only the people that have signed up could join when I actually create the topic, since I want to make it ALL roleplay on the actual thing. But you are DEFINITELY correct on literate 😃 Only requiring 5 sentences, I'm assuming punctuation and spelling would be okay for people...

The plans that I originally had for this roleplay was to make it seem like real life, and react the way you would in RL if you had encountered that situation. You guys can make up your own events but we'd have to face them as a group, unless you wanna go on your own "self quest" or something like that 😃
There aren't really any leaders in "The Broken Ones" just we're all in a "gang" together.
