okay. but just to let you know,, double feed is actually possible. eggcave resets the feed on 3am EC time. but if you are considering 1 feeds a day, for all of us to be fair, i understand because some people cant be on on specific timing.^w^

hope that explains it. and i didnt feed 3 times a day O_o

about my first post on 4:30am, which i have pointed out my self, the feed button was definitely available and i have fed, the food appeared with +EC , so i have considered i fed. if you do not believe it you can try it your self, i usually check back when ever i see a new notification on my screen, for me to see whether its available for me to feed again.
