Getting CaveCash

I know that you can buy CaveCash but I think that there should be a new way to get it because there are a lot of cool stuff that people are missing because they can't buy CaveCash themselfs.

People should get CaveCash for rewards on this website. They can get some for jus' like... giving a pet to a new user for free... something like that.

Or maybe cashing in EC for CC.

You can use prepaid visa cards to buy CC. I tried at least 25 time and failed. Then someone told me you have to register the card first! If you buy a prepaid Vis card, you don't have to worry about using a real credit card

The whole point of getting CC is to help Ian get money to make better improvements. Getting it free shouldn't work out.

yes, but there are pets in the store that can't be stolen because they need to buy 'em. I don't think people are getting what I'm tryin' to say.

Maybe, but if CC was ever free, than Egg Cave would most likely shut down. Would you want that to happen?

I think expecting to be paid for an act of kindness is really not needed. There is more than enough greed on here.

Looking at the responses it is clear everyone understood what you meant in your 1st post. If you mean something else then be clearer. Otherwise by not agreeing with you does not mean we are not "getting it".

I get what your saying but how about buying a CC card from a store like buying station cash cards for free realms at Gamestop or 7 Eleven.

We get what you're trying to say. And this has been suggested a few times already... But one problem is that Egg Cave is just too small. Paypal and the other card already suggested is the only way to go right now...
But in reality, Egg Cave needs real life money to stay open. Ads are not enough to pay for everything. Cash Shop creatures are meant to cost money for a reason. If they were supposed to be free, Ian might as well toss them in the cave.

Subeta can float because it's a much larger site with a much larger community. Here we have only 4-ish Mods + 1-2 artists. There they have at least a dozen, I'm sure...

Subeta gets paid for the advertisements and to garner the needed clicks they offer small amount of CSC. So Egg Cave will be making money not losing it despite the size 😉

I get what you're trying to say, but I don't agree. Plus, monitoring "good deeds" would take LOADS of time to do. Ian relies on money from the CSP for this website to function.

I think the whole EC to CC idea, to turn EC into CC,the only way it would work was if it was really pricy. Like, 1000 EC for 1 CC. Still, it might not.

@blackdeathkitty 500,000 EC for 500 CC then. That's not much. People could easily get a freeze for 250,000 EC and I've seen freezes go for higher...

I agree that trading in EC for CC is a really bad idea, that being said I do think there should be another way to get (at least a bit) of cavecash.

I was thinking more in the trend of getting like 50 to 100 CC every month on your main account. That way you can at the very least save up to buy a creature every 5 to 10 months or a freeze every 3 to 5 months. I have the birdland app on my mobile and that has something like this too, the paid for currency are feathers and occasionally you get a free one, haven't quite figured out when yet though, I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and already had 8 feathers (birds are generally 10 to 30 feathers). So something like this can work.

I agree with dionea, maybe 50 CC each month might be a good idea, but with sides, you could get more than you normally should.

Well, that's one of the whole points of CC. They're supposed to be bought, not stolen.
Look at it this way:
Free CC -> Nobody buying CC -> Ian not getting enough money to run the site -> Site getting shut down -> So what would the whole point of free CC be?

Anyway, you can live without it.
If you want CC, ask your parents or something, use your own money, don't decide to be lazy and ask for it for free.

But, wouldn't it be nice that you could get CC as a gift on special occasions like Christmas or New Years, right ? ^-^ And the problem is here almost all of us has cash and could afford to get one but doesn't own any credit cards. Shouldn't there also be a way for us to get CC even you don't own any credit cards or something?

Well, that's just what I think since majority of us has cash or maybe an ATM cards *shrugs* ~

I think there should be a way to get CC without a credit card. That would also look normal for an 11 year old to buy.
