What is going on with the Ambrie?

Is it so difficult to let players know when a limited creature is no longer going to be in the cave?

Easter is long over. I've made 40 attempts for this thing (4 days) and nothing. I'm starting to remember why I quit egg cave the first time. Limited eggs are only granted to a small number of players and too bad for the everyone else. It's all luck.

Either increase the picking chances at the cave or increase the appearance of limited eggs over the older ones.

@Phoenixeyes I was unable to find a Runton at all during the time they were released and also the Ambrie (if it retires along with the Bushay). I heard that there are a lot of other users who have yet to receive one from the cave as well.

I'm not sure whether they're going to retire today (Saturday at my place) or at the end of the month. I think, however, that it should just stay this way, regardless.

They are supposed to retire Saturday at 6:00 PM.

@phoenixeyes Also, it is how rarity is balanced out. When I see somebody who doesn't have one at the end of the time, I normally give out any extras I have.

I don't think it's very nice when you say 'Either increase......or....'. :c It's not a choice Ian has to make.

The weighted value is 57. It tops some other older limiteds and virtually almost/all CC egg.

It's just how things work out, can't have everything the way you want it. c:

@trish

It is a choice Ian has made. If players don't like it, it's up to us to let him know how things are not working out in order to build a better game. I'm not the only player annoyed.

And from what I understand the values of the game pieces *do* change.

Sure you can't have everything you want, but you won't get very far (and things won't change) if you don't speak your mind.

@phoenixeyes I like it just fine. Maybe your one step further into thinking it through then I am, but this is not the first case whereas users aren't able to obtain certain creatures.

And when the 'game pieces' changed, as in the re-releases, that caused a stir. Weighted value is there for reasons, trading purposes. If your able to obtain an Ambrie, you can have the chance to trade it for something else, if everyone had an Ambrie, there's not much to trade it in for.

Yeah it is Destiny that you get what you want,and In life things are unfair , Practically Life is Unfair!
The people who get Ambrie are not lucky neither are they the chosen one,because they Believed,
THEY BELIEVED IN THEMSELVES,Don't blame Lady Luck,neither God, Neither Yourself,Neither Ian don't Blame anybody!
Many People are like you they don't have it,But Once they believe Miracles can happen,So just Believe. 😸

@phenixeyes

Whether you find LEs in the cave or not is completely random. It's not someting Ian CHOOSES.

It's simply the luck of the draw, if you get it then yippiee if not then boohoo, go ask for a trade. Just sayin; It's rare for a reason.

This game is a waste. There is no skill involved. Too bad I have the egg from the hunt. I'm letting it die. Moving on...

It's like a game of luck. You should at least be happy that you're able to go to the cave and have a chance. Getting LEs is the only way for some players to actually get creatures {THEMSELVES} so that they can get CCs and so on.

I think that it is perfectly fair, and not everything is unicorns and rainbows. If everything was equal and everyone got one there would be no rarity, and nothing to work for. Then this site would be useless.
Since the creatures aren't very easily obtained from the cave, that balances out the rarity. I think it's pretty fair.

There's still a trading center. I got 7 of my ambries from the trading center for dirt cheap. It was so easy to get them. I don't see why you're complaining. ._.

EDIT: And, Ian does let us know when the creatures are going to be retired or taken from the cave. So that's not something to be upset about. xD

A lower weighted rarity means they're rarer 😋

@zafeyry I know that, but I'm saying that it balances out since they aren't easily obtained. If they were easily obtained it would be super high. :/

I actually like having LEs be rare-ish xD

Deleted • 14 April 2012 at 11:35 AM

@zafeyry I know. xwx
There are too many LEs that are really easy to get. P:

@rin
It also depends on how long they're out. The Christmas creatures, who were out forever, have a weighted rarity of 128 (Bessy) and the Drems who were out for 3 days have a weighted rarity of 81 😋
