2 Missing Eggs

Update: Comment no longer. Annapashmina is awesome, she gave me the name of one my missing creatures. I'm so relieved now😃

Hi.

All my eggs have names I work hard to get and I'm proud of each one I got so far. But some "strange" things happened lately and I'd like to know why.

I had an egg named Catherine and another one named Christine. On the 7th April I noticed Catherine was missing and searched for the name, it was on a foo at annapashmina's cove. Later, on the 10th April I was checking my eggs again and then I noticed Christine was missing and I'm positively sure I had her the day before, the 9th April. I also looked for the name and it was on a yuki at annapashmina's cove. Just to make things clear, no, none of my eggs died, they're always at Tim's (including the ones which are missing) and I also didn't receive notifications of their death. Finally, I'm also sure I didn't change their names, because I have no name changes since the week before they went missing.

I'd appreciate some help, I've never let an egg die and two names like Catherine and Christine don't go unnoticed. I know they're coveted names and I know people wanted them but they were mine and some error must have occured. I don't want to make accusations but eggs don't just disappear like this, only if there's a glitch. Those were my favorite names and egg cave hasn't been much fun to me since this happened. I'd like those names to be returned to me.

@cynt5100 I already did. And guess what? My ticket also disappeared mysteriously the day after I send it =\

@blackdeathkitty I asked her too... when Catherine went missing, annapashmina said it was probably a confusion. But I think it's probably a glitch.

I'm very upset, I really want those eggs☹️

Ummm... I hope I don't sound rude to Annapashmina, but she is an Admin and I think she has the power to take away peoples pets.

I'm pretty sure admins do not have the power to take away people's pets.

@whispers I did both things. Annapashmina hasn't answered me since I sent her the second PM. And I also sent a ticket but my ticket disappeared the day after I send it.

@blackdeathkitty I'll send him a PM if this issue doesn't get solved soon... I even sent a message to egg cave's facebook but no answer so far.

Hope I get them back. I had never had problems in egg cave before...

I kinda agree with blackdeathkitty, try to contact Ian somehow, explain what happened. Even if Anna did nothing wrong he has to look into this and confirm that, or we'll have a lot of drama on here. Also he has the ability to restore an egg with it's original name, even if the name is taken, so if this was a glitch you should definitely get your egg back.

@blackdeathkitty Lets not make accusations... annapashmina doesn't seem a bad person and if Ian chose her as administrator he must know her at least a bit... So I hope it isn't her fault😊

@blackdeathkitty An Admin can't do that for no reason, unless your accusing her of wanting those names and stealing them, which you seem as to be doing in my point of view. Admins are for EggCave's safety.

I'm sorry; I'm sure they can do something about it. Admin are normally nice about it.

Which creatures were they, the ones that you owned before?

Also, maybe ask annapashmina for the names back? I don't think she would've stolen them.

@pebblestar-nightclan I don't think she would either. I've talked to her before and she seems nice. I think it was a pyraguin and the other I don't remember. The eggs were common ones from the cave but still... I really want them back.

I don't think anyone's really trying to make accusations. This is just a very odd situation, where two eggs disappeared which shouldn't have died and then their names turned up in Anna's cove. If this happened to me I'd want it looked at too. I think it's very well possible that this was just an unfortunate case of successful 'namestalking', but Ian will HAVE to confirm this, having a rumour like this run free about a moderator is very, very bad.

I think if Anna is proved to have stolen the names, she could lose her job and maybe even get banned from Egg Cave O.O

You really seem to be accusing her, and you shouldn't. That's what could start rumors! I think it's best to leave this to Ian to figure out instead of coming up with our own ideas.

I agree, it's best to wait for a response from Ian now. But like I said, namestalking could be an explanation for what happened. When I stalk I usually check the names very shortly after 3: 30, so if a name frees up it's can be taken within minutes and some name hoarders check good names at random, so foul play is definitely not the only possible explanation. I remember when I got Albert I beat another person to it by minutes o.o

... i saw christine the yuki in Anna's cove for quite a while already. .___. how weird. you probably had the same name, christine. .___.
different creatures with the same name, oddly happens quite a lot.

@belilas_25 The names is there, I think for about 5 days. And yeah, it's possible there's a glitch and we both had the same name...

They could have died/disappeared through a glitch, that would free up their names... It's happened before a couple of times, though never twice in one cove. I'm not sure whether those people got a notification.

EDIT: And yeah, double names occur sometimes.
