Aizel frowned and stood up, throwing him one last disappointed look before walking out of the room.

She shook her head. He was just so cold and bitter suddenly.

Brendon then got up and closed the door turning off the music and taking his electric guitar out and began playing "Smells like team spirit" loudly which echoed throughout the house.

Aizel quickly trotted to her room and grabbed a spare towel, going back down the hallway and entering the bathroom. The day's events had tured her and she felt herself ready to collapse. It wa snearly 3 am and she knew that showering at this time of night wasn't sane but to heck with things, she wanted to freshen up. Going in, she threw the towel onto the hanger nearby and turned on the tab of the tub, filling it with nice warm water.

She looked into the mirror and sighed.

Brendon continued to play hard rock songs when suddenly he stopped for ten minutes and changed the tune of the songs to slow soft melodies.The soft tune wafted through the sound waves and made a very nice sound.

Turning on the tap of the sink too, Aizel washed her face first before blindly reaching for the towel and drying her face. She still had her head down as she turned off the tap. She looked up to frown at herself and met... the shadow.

She emmited a loud blood curdling scream and scrsmbled backwardsas the beast reached through the mirror for her. Too late did she realise that the beast wasn't in the mirror... it was behin her. She bumped right into it and slipped on the cold marble floor, falling right into the tub.

"Hello, little liar..." the creature snickered and raised a sharp clawed hand to bring down onto Aizel's back.

"AAAAAH!" She trashed into the tub and attempted to pry the shadowed hands from herse;f.

Brendon's head snapped up dropping the guitar and Running down the steps "A-AIZEL?!" he roared banging on the door and panting hard "What's wrong can I come in?!" he asked his voice trembling.

The door was securely closed and locked, of course, Aizel always had a habit of locking the bathroom door but was too busy to answer the boy. A shadowy hand was clamped over her mouth, preventing her from screaming.

She simply whimpered in pain as the creature loomed over her.

"No, you can't come in Brendon.." the creature laughed with its raspy , twsited voice.

Brendon roared in frustration and hit the door harder "[yeep] it let me in!" he shouted .He shook his head and fiddled wih the handle.Of course it had to be those kind of handles that were round and harder to twist!

The creature snickered, resssured that the boy could not get in and turned its attention to Aizel. The girl's back was covered in numerous scratches and burns, some deeper than other.

It cackled and smirked before digging its sharpclaws into the already bleeding wound. The reaction was immediate. Aizel arched her back and let out another piercing scream that was muffled by the creatures hand. She sobbed loudly, trembling vigorously and tears brimmed in her eyes.

Brendon screamed giving up on the door and running going to the window managing to open it enough to speak "for the love of god let her go!" he growled kicking the window and trying to pry it open more.

Just as it had appered, the beast vanished into thin air. Unsopported by the thing's hands, Aizel fell down full lenght onto the floor in a trembling sobbing heap. She was right next to the door so in a minute, she propped herself on her elbows and reached a hand up, clicking the door unlocked.

Aizel barely managed to lift her head and looked at him in amazement.
"No! I'm not okay! ...But you don't care... do you?" she asked, managing to sit up and winced while doing so. Her back was exposed to Brendon, covered in dep gashes and burns that all mixed into one giant wound that still bled profusedly.

Brendon frowned "Wait what?! If you think I don't care you don't know me at all!" he said turning his head away.He was still confused from all of events of tonight and wasn't thinking right."If you think I'm that kind of person Aizel I don't understand!" he said again not wanting to look.

Aizel looked at him, still trembling furiously and tears still streaming down her cheeks.
"Then why are you standing there... watching me bleed? You're different! I can't ignore that... I want the old Brendon back..." she whispered.

Brendon glared At her"The old Brendon?! The old what! This is what I'm saying! No-one understands me anymore!" he snarled turning away "If you haven't noticed I spent the last ten minutes trying to get in and help you.." he mumbled silently his back turned to her.

The shadow loomed over Katia again.
"IT killed us, we're the victims..." the humming voice answere again. "It'll continue to kill..."

@spiritwolf3 Aizel unlocked the door a while ago, actually so he has access to the room right now.

Aizel gasped in pain but narrowed her eyes at him, still sitting on the floor.
"I tried to understand you... but you just waved me away... " she tried to stand up but only ended up twisting her face in pain.

Brendon turned "Humph..why would anyone understand me?" he whispered his voice seemed hurt and offended. "Would you like help? Or am I too weird for you to trust?" he asked silently.

"You were never weird in my eyes. You were my friend, but with thise words coming out of your mouth... I'm not sure anymore..." she supported herself on the sink and managed to get up on waggling legs. "I needed help a minute ago, but you were too busy scolding me to help me... So no, I don't need help.."

"I tried to help! But those kind of things make me feel useless and that I probably am hated by everyone here..if you need no help fine!" he said fighting back tears and leaving the room quickly and slamming the kitchen door and sitting on the chair his head on the table.

Aizel sunk to her knees again, gritting her teeth in pain.
"And just this once you couldn't ignore what you feel and ry to help me...? I would've helped you!" she shouted out to noone and glared down the place where once Brendon stood. "So... this is what you choose? Fine then..." she frowned, tears sliping from her eyes and stood up barely again.

Brendon stepped in "What? I wanted to help you? But you said you were fine! What am I supposed to do?" he grumbled steeling over and picking her up "I'm helping you anyway.." he sighed carrying her up to her room and placing Aizel on her bed.He didn't say a word just stood at the other end of the room.

"Yeah, because I looked fine, right? I looked okay with the huge gash on my back..." she said, sarcasm dripping from her voice. "I don't know who you are... but I want the old Brendon back..." she whispered tiredly, eyes beginning to droop closed.

Eyes feeling heavy, Aizel slowly fell deep into unconsciousness. The last thing she'd seen was the tired expression on Brendon's face and his cloudy eyes. She had wanted so bad to help. Go up to him and pull him into her arms like she'd done before and tell him how sorry she was. But ... the Darkness had looked so tempting and calm... safe and warm. no ghosts and no pain whatsoever. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she went limp on the soft bed. Her ind went blank from all thoughts and the worry in her heart evaporated. The Darkness really was a beautiful place. It engulfed her and held her firmly and... she felt like she never wantd to leave its embrace.

He chest struggled to rise and her throat gave out short wheezes every once in a while. The sheets of the bed had turned bright crimson red. The raw wound still bled profusely.

Brendon looked over as he quietly stepped over and taking off his white shirt and gently placing it on Aizels wound in order to stop the bleeding.He sighed looking at her and trying not to wake her.
