Question about eggs

Does anyone know how you get an egg from the asteroid? Is there a trick or time,or do you need to have a certain lvl or pet? Or is it just an extremly random chance?

Also in the egg cave does time of day effect what eggs might be there? every time I go in,I usually get the same 3 or 4 eggs "found". I have found a couple of new ones,but mostly I just get the same ones over and over. (can't afford to pay real money to buy a pet from the cash park sadly.)

Sorry if my questions seem silly,I'm fairly new and don't know my way around this site. 😊;;

@stormdragonxi Getting an egg from the asteroid is based on pure luck. The only egg from the cave that is affected by what time it is, is the Terron. Terrons can only be found between 3:00 am and 3:15 am ECT. Other than that what egg you get from the cave is also just random chance.

And don't worry about asking questions. We were all new and clueless once. 😊

I have yet to get an Asteroid creature.
