I'm an okay drawer, and I'm pretty good with cutting. I'm a good sculpter if I take my time but for the life of me I can't make any art on the computer -_-

So how can I make my digital art better? I see people's great images and cringe at the thought of what me doing that would look like 😋

@zafeyry Well, unless you have a tablet, making good digital art with a mouse is a pain in the arse. It takes an crazy amount of patience to make things look good, since mouse movements can be a bit jerky.

If you do have a tablet, then its just a mater of practicing till you are as good drawing on it as you are drawing with a pencil and paper.

I'm not great at digital art either. Maybe if I use a Graphics tablet and if I have photoshop, but otherwise I'd rather stick with art done by hand 😋

@orderedchaos
How much would a cheap tablet cost?

@lily-
Go non-digital artists 😋

@zafeyry
Yeah I totally agree. XD

I do my best artwork with paper and pencil/paint/pastels etc. Well anything that involves doing it practically and by hand 😊

@zafeyry After a quick search, $70-$80 seems to be the price range for the cheapest tablets.

@zafeyry Yeah, and the price only goes up from there. >.< That's why I never bought one. I only draw as a hobby and could never justify the cost of one.

@zafeyry

I agree with orderedchaos, a good tablet would help you so much with digital art.

One thing you've got to understand though, is that getting a tablet doesn't automatically improve your art. The tablet is only as good as your actual skills in drawing are. I made that mistake when I bought my first tablet, and I thought it would suddenly make me amazing at drawing and, in fact, I still sucked. XD

So practice. That's another thing. It's a very common thing to be told but it literally is the key to being better at any form of art. It takes time, so don't give up! 😃

@Orderedchaos
I don't have that money 😋 I'll stick with traditional art 😊

@elluwah
I'm much better with cutting than drawing, I guess I'll have to work on my drawing xD
