Please, end of school year, come before I murder my GPA any further. It'll be a zombie at this rate. A bloody, bloody zombie corpse. ☚ī¸

I want to study. I do study and do my homework. I just don't have the drive to go above and beyond like I used to. Senior slump is all this is, I hope. I'd hate to be like this in college.

Anyway, I got another poem accepted by a literary mag. 9% acceptance rate according to Duotrope.
Maybe I'm doing /something/ right...

@metaphor Sounds like you have a case of Senioritis (or senior slump as you call it). 😊 Don't worry, once you're in college you'll feel more motivated. Part of that comes from a nice summer of no school work and part form being able to actually choose your own classes and class schedule. Its a wonder how much more motivated you feel when all the classes you're taking are once you want to take.

Congrats on getting your poem accepted.

@metaphor
Congrats on the poem! I was actually the opposite when i was in school. My early years 3rd - 11th grade I was very much a slacker. It wasn't until 12th grade when I buckled down and tried XD

Thanks for your support, guys!

I think @orderedchaos is right. Definitely have a case of Senioritis.😋
But summer is just around the corner, and my pool will be open (unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to get a bathing suit this year. My thighs are too dimply...) and I'll be able to be outside more.😊
