i submitted a ticked saying this just a suggestion but i dont think this site should have a few of the advertisements that it has . this is a site of mainly children and so far i have seen four different advertisements with barely dresses women..two were almost near naked ..being a mom if i seen my child on this site i would no longer let him play on it...the pictures are very inappropriate for young children..i personally dont like seeing that trash on my screen as well . i understand you have to make money to keep this site going but i just feel those pictures should not be on a website where young children come to have fun...thank you for reading this ..i just felt it needed to be said and to be heard thank you---Kelliewhat are your guys thoughts on this?

@1992firebirdgirl Egg Cave and Ian do not pick out the advertisements, Google Adsense does that. The ads shown are actually based on a few things 1) things that have been searched for on google by someone on your computer, 2) key words on the page displayed, 3) sites that you have recently visited. If you find an ad offensive then you should report it. See here, http://support.google.com/adsense/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=ts.cs&ts=1190500&ctx=as2&rd=1 , for how to do that.

@orderedchaos doesnt eggcave have some say so in the matter though?....and thanks for letting me know

@1992firebirdgirl I concur!! The Roman orgy? and Nurse Jackie? Very inappropriate for the target audience. My daughter plays (very sparingly) but I don't appreciate it being on the site. Her use had been limited to more FAMILY-FRIENDLY sites such as nickelodeon, pbskids, etc. I'd prefer knowing this site didn't promote that type of material.

@1992firebirdgirl Not sure how it works, but Egg Cave may have some small say in the matter. If the ads really bother you, you can always block them and thus never see any ads. Just search for "adblock" plus the browser you use to find an adblock plugin.

@orderedchaos Thank you for the insight. 😊 I've been appalled by the advertisements as well and pulled my daughter off the game when I saw the ad.

Any inappropriate ads can be blocked, yes. Send in a ticket with the content and referring urls.Like @orderedchaos said, Adsense is the program that EC uses to display relevant advertising. Ian can request that specific ads not be displayed, however.

@zac to get the url i have to click on the advertisement right?? well i did and it was worse than the pic on here ..pretty much full frontal nudity and kids click on these things sometimes either by mistake or on purpose

@1997firebirdgirl Occasionally ads will display their website address on the image itself. If you can't find it, reporting the name of the site or even describing the ad itself should do it. 😉

Hahaha, Eggcave ads. I almost forgot they were here! I just downloaded the free add-blocker and they are no more. =^)

@1992firebirdgirl Get AdBlock Plus (adblockplus.org). It's for K-Melon, Chrome and Firefox and it blocks all the ads.
