The only rules are that your character must be a mythical animal of some sort. If it's from another culture, that's fine, but please explain it a little! Extra-terrestrials are also welcome. 😊 Your creature can change into a humanoid form if necessary to blend in/escape, but only for a limited amount of time. This day hadn't gone like she had expected it to, already, Zen had found an unwanted newborn, been shot at, almost eaten by a wolf, had cut her tail open, and suffered a number of hits to her head, it wasn't even noon! Her tail trailed behind her like a flickering flame, she was carrying the newborn in one arm and making sure to catch every branch with her free hand, she couldn't risk hurting the child, he was just so small and delacate. /SNAP/ the branch she had hit had been attatched to an old dead tree, the feeble, dry wood had snapped under the sudden weight, sending her to the ground. "Crap!" she yelped, turning so sohe would hit the ground with her back, forming a ball around the infant.

Pale skin, that appears to glow and hypnotising blue eyes - nearly white, that contrast to her red lips. Shoulder lenght coal black hair that is usually hidden under a veil and bangs of the same colour. Personality: Seems cold and uncaring - a vicious monster as she is called, but in reality she is kind and caring. She has learned how to tuck away her emotions when it comes to killing. Her true personality is stubborn but loyal to those who she treasures. Abilities: Her velvety voice is able to hypnotise anyone who hears it. It is often said that she lures unsuspecting sailors and marines to her deep cave and then devours them. That is, sadly, not far from the truth. History: Hunreds of thousands of years ago she was a normal girl, living in the nearby fishing village. She is currently suffering from a curse tat binds her to a life of exile in the small cave near the village. She feeds on passer-by sailors, tricking them to enter her cave and then murdering them. This isn't so bad, she reflected as she stretched her massive wings luxuriously. It wasn't often that she had a chance to stay in one place for more than an hour without being disturbed, usually by armed pursuers. As if on cue, though, she heard a branch snap nearby. The sphinx was upright with her back defensively to the rock before the sound had even died. She relaxed almost instantly as she caught the scent of.. well, she thought it might be a troll, but she'd never met one. Curious, she crept closer, moving quite stealthily for a creature of her size. She spotted the troll quickly; she was on the ground, curled around what looked to be a human child. The troll saw her at almost the same time. Alida extended one paw and helped the unlikely pair to their feet.

@arya_456Zen jumped back after the creature helped her up "uh thanks" she muttered, her ears flicking for a moment as the child whimpered, he was asleep but fussing. Taking another step back, Zen's tale swished left and right as she nodded to the Sphinx. As custom, for any help her species ever retrieved, she plucked one of the feathers from her tail, it shrunk and hardened into stone. Grabbing the Sphinx's hand, she placed the feather in her palm and closed her fingers around it "I owe you now" she said quietly, smiling again

@arya_456@inkstep---Reed Flew over head. She was vary young to be on her own. She circled them. She was far up so she looked like some black shape in the sky. She wondered what happend but dint go down to ask she just flew above watching.

Her long blonde and green hair stuck to her neck like a clump of seaweed. A motor boat skimmed the surface of the water, bouncing off the white tip of the water. A couple of college students and thier girl friends, giggled and hugged. Atleta grinned, almost slyly and began her favorite game.Tossing her arms up, she began to stuggle. Coughing and sputtering she called for help. One of the young men on the boat gestured in her direction. Thinking quickly, he dove into the water and swam to her side. Bitting her lip to prevent from laughing, she ducked under the cystal surface of the water. She allowed her tail to bump the man's legs. He swore loudly. 'Shark!' He screamed, sounding somewhat like a girl. Continuing to brush her tail against his legs, he became more paniced. 'Dude! The shark got the girl! Let's get outta here!' Paddling back to the boat the man hoisted himself onto the boats hull. Atleta exteneded her hand and stroked the man's shoulder. 'Boo!' she hissed, fanning her tail.

@inkstep@carterAlida sensed the troll's wariness a split second before she took cover. She whirled and swiped, her claws slicing right through a thick, leafy branch. Quickly dragging the branch around, she carefully batted it into place over the troll and her human charge. Satisfied that the two were reasonably well-hidden, Alida looked up and studied the shape circling above. A few tense minutes later, though, the unknown thing continued to circle. Never taking her eyes off of it, she leapt powerfully to the top of the boulder and flew up to meet it.
